1,000,000% of this positive review goes to Mark, the wonderful unicorn who I'm guessing is one of the Mgrs. at Grove Lane. The location is as mentioned one of the newer ones, and that didn't keep some of my iced jupiter shaken brown cow sugar epsilon socket wrench drinks from still being made wrong, but hey-- kindness covers a multitude of sins. I keep going, especially since my last 2 out of maybe 5 espressos had been perrrfection. Now, I'm counting 3: the drink I got late yesterday morning crafted by Mark stood out in its absolute yumminess, but the REAL MIRACLE was watching him and the Weekend, Rainy Day Staff handle an astronomical amount of orders. I'on know if something happened other than suddenly crisp, wet weather, but there were no fewer than 9mill drinks awaiting skilled hands to assemble them, and that was inside the café alone. I waited patiently, honestly so did every single person in our horde-not ONE entitled or disrespectful soul in the bunch-and before I could even ask if I could PLEEEASE just get my drink, Mark first made eye contact and explained I was coming up immediately, then came through on his word just minutes later. I saw him even politely take care of the poor self-centered souls who asked for "extras," (really? right now?) without breaking character or sucking his teeth. The way he interacted with his own coworkers, possibly most importantly of all, was just as even-tempered, calm, and dignified. Compassion, accuracy, and speed under pressure: it CAN be...
Read moreI am daily customer of Starbucks. my experiences during my recent visits at the Grove location, I've faced some ongoing issues that I believe need attention. Unfortunately, the preparation of my black coffee with peppermint has consistently been incorrect, as cream is added despite my request for none. Additionally, I always ask for my coffee to be served hot, but I've received lukewarm beverages multiple times. Today, my coffee was watered down. When I called to address this after my visit through the drive-thru hoping it would be fixed approaching the Barista for a second time I was disappointed and told to drive off by the manager, Mike I believe is his name, felt I had an attitude. I believe my frustration was warranted given the inconsistency in service. I did not curse or raise my tone. I told him, today was my last time visiting the location.
I also want to mention that, although I would have preferred to discuss this in person, I had my toddler with me and found it challenging to park. On previous occasions when I have gone inside, I've noticed that the cleanliness of the location was not up to standard, which further detracts from the experience. I also mentioned that to The manger before I was told to “DRIVE OFF”. I hope this feedback is taken constructively because the location is perfect for the area. The staff needs to be more detailed oriented, focused on replenishment as product gets low, the cleanliness and be able to keep up with the high volume without missing the...
Read moreOrdered my drink a venti iced chai with soy, light ice, and extra chai. They didn't ask for name nor did my request for soy/light ice print on the drink. Used the restroom so I didn't watch them make my drink. The restroom light wouldn't turn on automatically and then shut off when i was washing my hands. The seat is loose. The paint job of the door looks like spilled coffee. When I went for my drink i mentioned i had asked for soy because it didn't print out. The woman at the counter said she made it with soy then proceeded to gossip with earshot to the man who took my order about it and the fact i didn't even try it first. I'm a former master barista. It is far too light. There were also multiple flies around that I had to frequently swat away. Do not recommend, i regret not just going to smoothie king. I ended up just throwing out the...
