Taco Bell / KFC — Restaurant in Newberry Township

I ordered here tonight 4/27/2023. Let me start off by saying this place has to be scamming (Newberry Commons in Etters, PA). They never give you what you pay for. What else to think when so many items are left out. Therefore, they must be doing this on purpose. Charge the customer for everything but leave things out and rush them off so they don't notice. If that is not the case, then some major pick-up order window re-training needs to take place. IT'S BAD because the employees you have there at that window - they are awful.

Legitimately - If I could give this place a -5 I would. I won't be returning (I'm sure I am one customer and this place could not care less but I have to leave a review on principal).

Again, charged for everything but don't receive so many thing (i.e. utensils, napkins, straws, sauces, extra sides paid for, food items that make up the meal). They never change their soda machine syrup bags it seems anymore. The customer gets charged $3 for a soda and receiving basically seltzer water because the syrup bag hasn't been changed. In addition, it would probably be a little more okay if this happened when they were busy. However, this happens all the time now. Busy or not busy and it is no longer an isolated incident. Fast food is way too expensive in today's economy to be forgetting items that customers paid for. I have a family business and we get 10x the amt. of customers this location receives and we never make these many mistakes (again, makes it feel like it is on purpose to give less and make still make the same money)

In addition, the food quality is subpar now. The chicken I received tonight for the Nashville hot tenders were complete rubber - looked like rubber when I pulled it apart. Disgusting. I about wanted to vomit biting into it. My soda tastes like seltzer water and is flat at that. No biscuit with my meal. No utensils or straws given.

Again, you try to make sure you have what you need before you drive off. However, they close the window on you and look at you like your crazy when you try to get their attention. Completely rude service. One of the worst if not the absolute worst Taco Bell/KFCs I have...

This is not just this location but every location I experience this same issue. Tonight it was the #D131001 Robin hood Dr Etters PA location but understand this is all your locations I can insert and have same order conversation. Drive thru or inside. I am vegetarian so I know I can get black beans and rice and make nearly all taco bell items vegetarian. Tonight it was #2, 3 soft taco meal. I pull up to order after the greeting I order #2 with black bean and rice no meat. Girl taking order - you want the 3 tacos? Me - yes. G - Supreme or regular? M - Supreme no tomato. G - 3 tacos Supreme no tomato. What do you want to drink? M - those are black bean and rice no meat correct? G - oh you want black bean and rice? M - yes correct. G - ok there is an upcharge are you ok with that? M - Yes. G - and you want meat? M - no meat just black bean and rice. G - what do you want to drink? Complete order and go to window. Now the upcharge is usually just the rice never the beans and rice but tonight both were an upcharge. So apparently meat is part of the cost regular but removed is free and only substitutions are additional. Besides the point. Why can I never order and it be an easy order? I usually have to say no dead animal because no one drive thru or in person understands black beans, no meat. I get it they sound similar. If you say meat and I say no repeatedly maybe recognize that it is beans? And the back and forth ensues until I finally say no dead animal. Because vegetarian doesn't equate to your employees either. Also why tonight included must you always add tomato when it is requested...

We ordered a variety party pack this past wknd at the Etters location for $25 and upgraded to 6 chicken and 2 dorito. The cashier said the chicken would be an upgrade. We got to the window and she asked for $45. We said why so much. All she said was it’s not her fault and slammed the door. We paid and called the manager when we got home. She said the bill was correct. The tacos barely had any meat in them. I can’t believe chicken would double the price. We should have been notified of the price when ordering so we could have gone somewhere else. I can get $4 tacos at a nicer restaurant. Very rude blonde ponytail window cashier there hates her job and the customers that come to her window. Hope she gets fired or demoted to bathroom duty. Don’t waste your time or money there.
