Newberry Pointe — Local services in Newberry Township

Went again to the only Walmart located in this area and I always go with very low expectations. Never anything stocked, and store employees blocking every aisle with not stocking, but looks like taking inventory. This time I was there for food for my wife, and a small container of mealworms for our leopard geckos. They carry these with the live bait refrigerator back behind the sporting goods section. There were exactly 4 containers of mealworms, and I was in luck only needed 1, but wouldn't you know it, each one of those 4 container's was completely empty, except one which someone kindly left 1 mealworm.

This wasn't the first time I encountered what looks like obvious theft of the live bait in this particular store. Pretty much everytime I go I have to open the container to make sure it's not empty. Obviously the store management just doesn't care????

Walmart customer service got both email and phone complaints from me yesterday. They have a companywide mask policy in store and while grabbing the few things I needed I observed at least A DOZEN people without masks. When i asked the attendant at self checkout her response was "it's not the law and we can't make them". Sorry honey...WRONG answer! This was not my first bad experience at this store, another one pre-pandemic involving the ship-to-store area. If you need something while in the Etters PA area....avoid this Walmart...

I like Newberry Point because there are a lot of options there. There is the Redland Community Library, Karns Food Store, The UPS Store, and best of all are the restaurants I like especially LOVE USA & I. Their food is excellent and they have a wonderful list of lunch specials. If you have not tried USA and I would highly recommend it. They are Under New Management.
