Whits Newnan — Restaurant in Newnan

I literally come atleast 3 times a week and I've never ever had a issue but today was by far a really bad experience for me. I literally sat in the drive thru for 15 minutes while this young man had a whole conversation with someone never answered the intercom or took my order...The person never bought anything money was never exchanged and he kept looking at me smiling like me having to wait gave him satisfaction. I pulled out of the drive-thru and went on the inside to still see him still holding conversation at the windows. I voiced my concerns to the managers and I could tell she seemed scared to say anything to the young man but she was very friendly and made it right. The young man then came from the drive-thru laughed in my face and joked about it to another male employee. Again I've never had a issue before and this was really a surprise normally everyone is...

Whits is a wonderful place to go for frozen treats. Great selection, good people, overall very nice and very popular. I would have liked to give Whits a 5 ⭐ review. However, when we visited they were so busy we could not go inside to order. We decided to use the drive thru. Unfortunately it was near impossible to hear the server through the speaker. We thought we finally got the order of 2 waffle cones correct. When we picked up the order we got 1 cone and got charged $8.76! The server seemed confused and said the order was correct. To resolve my wife went into the store. She came back out with 2 waffle cones. They ended up being the wrong flavor. Considering that they were swamped with customers I feel they made their best efforts. Obviously they have done great job to be so popular. We would like to wish Whits prosperity and great success...

The custard is delicious, beautiful light taste. The Georgia Gem is very tasty for a caramel/pecan lover. My children get the dirty worm which they love, though the Gummi's seem slightly hard to chew eachtime, but it maybe due to the cold temperature of the custard. The Brownie sundae is also a great choice, warm brownie topped with crushed cookies & chocolate syrup. The location has plenty of parking space. Easily accessible, though the exit can be a bit tricky the curved roads with oncoming traffic plus the store front sign, semi blocks the view. I suggest going through the lot to the side road and waiting for the light. Also fair warning it can be very busy at times especially on a Saturday night and the drivethru line gets very long and moves at a slower pace. All in all I highly recommend a visit for a...
