Humanity Coffee — Restaurant in Newport Beach

Best Coffee in Newport Beach! I walked into Humanity Coffee on the Newport Beach Peninsula this week for the first time. Immediately I was blown away by the customer service and the fantastic baristas. Friendly, kind and very welcoming. Kinda like that "fam vibe". I thought for a second someone was going to bake me an apple pie and drop off sugar cookies to my table! :)

The Coffee is hands down the best in Newport. Ive been to "literally every place" around the CDM/Newport area and the coffee here is super crisp and clean. Caffeine buzz is super "non crashy":). Which is nice for someone who has to be at their best 100% of the day.

Location: Right across from Lido. Parking is awesome and you can walk right to Lido and or the boardwalk. Super convenient even if you live across the bridge. "hop-skip-and a jump" from everywhere in Newport!

Last.. You can get a coffee within 1-2 minutes here. Unlike most "off-the-hook" coffee shops... you're not grinding your teeth waiting on your coffee! Fast, friendly and flavorful! Love this place and coming back everyday.

Honorable mention: The good Journey Cosmic Churro Cookies. Im on Keto .. and these literally fit me perfectly for dietary restrictions! Tastes...

Updated review: recently visited Humanity Coffee over one year later and I still find it to be the best coffee shop in Newport Beach and Lido. I think what differentiates them is the people who work there that put love in the drinks they make.

I had the iced coffee with sea salt foam. The slight saltiness of the rich foam perfectly balanced the bitterness of the coffee. They had interesting seasonal drinks like salty maple syrup but I was too obsessed with the regular salt foam to try something else. I also love that their coffee is organic.

They still have free parking. I noticed a new restaurant next to them that wasn't there before, so let's ensure that Humanity sticks around so I can come back to it next year!

Super cute coffee shop on Newport Blvd (next to F45) with friendly service, strong espresso and delicious pastries. They have unique lattes--we got the ube latte and matcha latte. The syrups are home-made. You can taste the ube, matcha and the espresso. I like my matcha really sweet and they're nice about making adjustments after you try your drinks.

The Everything Cream Cheese croissant is sooo good!! The other pastries look good too.

Plenty of seating and parking lot with free parking. Will definitely come back when...

Came in today with my husband, toddler, and infant. Vibe right away was tense there was no greeting and barista just came up to the counter after a couple mins and just stood there silently. We ordered an ube latte, iced americano, cup of whole milk (for toddler), and egg/cheese sandwich. They charged $4.20 for just the small cup of about 8 ounces of whole milk. Our coffee came out rather quickly and as we sat and drank them about 3 other customers came and went with their coffee so we asked about our sandwich. It was clear they forgot about it but offered no apologies just said it’d be out soon and started getting it. Once ready again offered no explanation or any remarks. The coffee was okay but nothing special and definitely not a place I’d recommend as my Americano tasted watered down. Even my husband commented how terrible and awkward the service was when we walked out and he’s not one to notice those things. All around a very...
