Wow! We stumbled upon this lovely gem today, and we're so pleasantly surprised by how delicious, fresh and authentic the food was! We have another local favorite Mediterranean restaurant that we usually go to, but I think we might be coming here more often.
We had the lamb Shawarma platter which was delicious. The lamb was well-seasoned and tender. I wish there was a little bit more of the lamb though. The portion seemed a bit smaller than it looked in photos from the menu. It also came in more of a boat type bowl, not a platter, which might be why the portions were smaller.
The other dish that we had was a delicious and spicy beef with rice and an amazing thick yogurt. Wow! Not only did it look amazing, but the taste did not dissapoint! We love spicy food, but we have never had a spicy Mediterranean dish before, so it was perfect for our liking.
The very nice lady who took our order was very lovely and helpful with our questions about the menu. Service was prompt, courteous and professional. Our food came out rather quickly, so we were very happy with that, as we had a time crunch.
Btw, this place a little tricky to find, but don't give up. It's worth it!
We are definitely visiting here again...
Read moreDelicious Mediterranean food off the beaten path. We we’re only ones in there at lunchtime on a Saturday. Food was served promptly and had good portions, service was friendly. We came here because my brother wanted beef kebabs and they used filet mignon which was very tender and flavorful. Disappointed that it did not have bell peppers but a personal preference as opposed to the sliced zucchini on it. Fattoush salad was fresh and had a perfect amount of dressing, it had bread sticks instead of the usual torn up pita but they were crunchy and yummy. Protein options for salads included falafel, these were a bit too hard, maybe overcooked. Hummus was good, nothing fancy and asked for more pita bread. Olive appetizer was fantastic, with one side marinated with carrots and other was like a pesto sauce on them. Cucumber salad was disappointing as we like it mixed together with the tomatoes and onions. This was slice up on top of each other. Pretty plated but our preference was mixed. Overall a good place to enjoy a meal that is tucked away from the main harbor and Lido island...
Read moreTheir advertisement of “Affordable Mediterranean food” is a bit off. Although it is slightly less expensive, but we spent $90+ for just me and my wife for lunch. Especially, their appetizer platter is a joke in terms of quantity. Their portion was hardly two spoons of each appetizer which they sell for $11 as affordable, but it is not even half the quantity as other place which sells for $15 or $16. For the same quantity as other places, you will pay here at least $22 or more. Consequently, they are more expensive as compared to others. Food is good in parts. Lamb Shawarma is good, but Beyti kebab was a bit disappointing....
