Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Newport

This restaurant is a good example for not opening until you are ready. Starting with arriving to pick up my order I was standing at the counter for almost 10 min before my existence was even acknowledged. I understand if youre just opening and maybe understaffed but all it takes is looking at someone and saying “ hello, we will be with you in just a min” so I at least know that you know I’m standing here. Heard the gentleman tell someone my order was ready and then waited a couple more minutes to actually have a cashier come in to check me out. As I’m checking out I hear the same gentleman ask where my order is because it was just right there only to see him run outside to tell another man that he was giving my order to the wrong person. I get my food and go home to see that they forgot our breadsticks. I called to let them know my husband was coming to get them and was basically told we needed to hurry because they closed in 20 min. The food was subpar for sure. Pizza was dry, every order of wings was drizzled in minimal sauce not near enough to cover the wings, my family all had to add sauce we had at home to make them edible. The pasta was dry as well and only had enough in it to cover the very bottom of the dish ( like 5-6 bites of food). The best thing we got was the stuffed cheesy bread and it was just ok. We have truly enjoyed having Domino's come to Newport. We have been ordering at least a couple of times a month, sometimes more often. The food is always excellent, and service is always fast whether it be in store orders or delivery. Everyone is always polite, kind as can be, very helpful when I have questions... and the one and only time there was a mistake, they went above and beyond to correct the issue. We have always loved Domino's, but we had to go to another town to get it until they came here. So glad to have them as a new choice. They for sure have the best pizza and extra menu options of any other choices we have to choose from. We missed having Pizza Plus around, but Domino's tops that by far. Thank You guys. Also, we love the points system that actually works and can be used with ease (other places seem to complicate it). There are always other great coupons and additional options that are given to help save as well it seems. I highly recommend this location and just the brand in general!!!! It's really frustrating that the new Domino's store in Newport messed up big time. I called three times to check when they're open, and they said till 10. But when I went to order, they told me they were closed already. The employees were also super rude. It's weird because the store just opened, but they're already causing a lot of problems. They seriously need to fix things if they want people to come back.

This inconsistency in communication reflects poorly on both the employees and the overall management of the store. It not only wasted my time but also left me frustrated and dissatisfied with the service. The lack of coordination and accurate information from the employees created a significant inconvenience.

As a customer, reliability and transparency in business operations are crucial. Unfortunately, this Domino's store failed to meet these expectations.
