We used Tinucci's to cater our wedding at Dellwood Barns and we got so many rave reviews on it! Firstly, Mark Jr was awesome to work with. He's always just a text away and was so responsive. We came in there for the taste testing and various other times to pay and he always offered us a meal for the road. They even gave us a wedding gift of a gift certificate for the next time we visited. Seriously, such good customer service.
The food was amazing. When we went with them to cater, they were just getting their foot in the door at our venue and I'm so glad they were suggested to us. I'm originally from out of state so I never heard of Tinucci's before, but was blown away by the tasting. We ended up going with their chicken sandwich (MY FAVORITE) and pulled pork, as well as their mac and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, chilled veggies, corn bread and watermelon. Also for apps we had fresh pico and chips along with a meat and cheese platter. AND PEOPLE ARE SLEEPING ON THEIR DESSERTS, the turtle brownies are to die for. SO GOOD. I've eaten at least 2 a day since our reception and I'm not sure what kind of magic is in them but they are still moist!!!
The pricing was very fair on the food and Mark Jr was very helpful in adjusting pricing/selection to our guest count. It's obvious they have a lot of experience in catering because when they showed up on the reception day, they moved like a well oiled machine. They had a tent to shield from weather, a table cloth to make it look nice, everything was well stocked the whole time and they were nice enough to take back our leftovers and package them and then store them until the next day when we came to collect them, vs leaving them for the venue to deal with or handing them off to us, who were definitely not in the mindset to look after food (but so grateful to have it the next day). They also brought plenty of backup food just incase we had extra guests or people wanted third or fourth servings (which happened with us, we had almost no leftovers the next day for us specifically even though we ordered about 25 extra servings, people loved the food) which would allow most people to lower their guest count to a more realistic number without worry of running out of food.
We've been to Tinuccis on prime rib buffet day (also highly suggested) as well as various other times for just a casual pick up and we have never been disappointed. We'll definitely see what other larger events we can use them for, because it was such a...
Read moreThe food is amazing here. For a place that's off the beaten path it's worth the trip. They have hot food and wonderful salads to take home as well, plus I'm a huge fan of the chocolate cream pie (number one ingredient is cream, which is why it's so delicious). The only reasons I gave it four instead of five stars are because Fox news is always on. I do love the news, and watch it a lot, but not Faux News. I feel like they're trying to convert patrons. Then also today while I was there for lunch two parties came in after me, and were asked if they were looking for the restaurant. They replied that they were. The people were told, rather abruptly I thought, that it didn't open until 4:30. Now I don't know if I was eating in the regular or the small, little restaurant area. It's way bigger than what I've ever seen. My problem with the whole scenario is that the people weren't apologized to, and weren't given any other options. If they could have ordered off the lunch menu and sat where I was they should have been told, and if that wasn't an option than the hours posted here on Google and on their doors should change. When I left several people were gathered by the door, that had been told the restaurant wasn't open until later, discussing where to go instead, and looking confused. I expected better customer service for people who decide to make the...
Read moreTinucci's catered my August wedding and the food was absolutely wonderful.
Working with Mark to get all of the planning done and food arranged was a breeze. Tasting the menu of food they had to offer was so much fun and everything tasted amazing. It was hard to choose what we'd feed our guests because it all tasted so good.
When it came to the day of the wedding the staff from tinucci's was very helpful and on top of things. They provided great food and great service and guests are still coming up to us over a week later or sending us messages telling us how great the food was.
my husband is very picky about his meat but the Italian sausage provided with the meal was amazing he keeps saying. We have other guests that say the same thing that they usually don't like sausage but the sausage that tanucci's provided was again, amazing.
We have not allergies in the family and tenucci's was quick to adapt the meal to prevent any issues.
last minute we added a gluten-free meal for a bridesmaid with celiac disease and they were happy to accommodate us.
Seriously they are nothing but wonderful, adopted to covered restrictions by doing a plated buffet instead of a traditional buffet, had great communication and great service.
I highly recommend them and I can't wait to eat their food again as a date night...
