Dunkin' — Restaurant in Newton

I really like coming to this location because of its convenience to where I work. There's plenty of parking and lots of ways in and out if you know the location. The staff is always very friendly and very fast - too fast even for my slow brain when in need of a coffee fix. The other day I tried the frozen coffee from here and nearly died from shock. To me, it tasted just like the best coffee ice cream my fat little butt should not be allowed to indulge in - but will! Ohhhh DD you just had to do this didn't you? Now I have to be sneaking in on a regular basis for this awesome concoction. When my doctor asks how I've managed to gain weight when otherwise behaving - I'll send him to your door! I have gone to this Dunkins a countless amount of times and I’ve had usually good experiences and coffee except for today. There was a very nice man training and the main manager was very unprofessional and screaming at him is NOT the best way to train right in front of the customers. She was yelling at his every move and even telling him to say please and thank you when he was just trying to converse with his customers. As soon as he gave back my change and she was finished screaming at him she then proceeded to yell at the other employee working in Chinese. Living fairly close to this location it is very convenient to hit this DnD on a regular basis. The food and coffee is always good. It is the service that is lacking. The Manager is rude and short with their employees. I have arrived shortly after their opening several times and the Manager is running around because an employee didn't show up. Seeing how they are treated, I can see why retention could be an issue. The Manager is in such a hurry to get customers through the line that they often forget to give you parts of the order (eg. donuts) and I find myself having to remind them constantly.
