don't know where to start. My experience at Sweetgreen was absolutely atrocious, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. First off, the service was absolutely horrendous. I walked into the location expecting a quick, easy, healthy meal, but instead, I was met with the complete opposite. The employees couldn’t have been more disinterested or rude if they tried. The person at the counter acted like I was inconveniencing them by simply placing an order. They barely made eye contact and didn’t even seem to care about answering my questions about the menu. If I wanted to feel like I was annoying the staff, I could have just stayed home and asked my cat for help—at least my cat would’ve looked at me while ignoring me.
But wait, it gets worse. After enduring the abysmally bad customer service, I finally made it to the register to pay, and that’s when the real nightmare began. The price on the menu didn’t match what I was charged. Not even close. I ordered a regular-sized salad, nothing fancy, and I was charged WAY more than what the menu had listed. The cashier didn’t even bother to explain the additional charges. I had to ask, "Why am I being charged this much?" And guess what? They just shrugged it off. No apology, no explanation—nothing. Just a half-hearted gesture towards their "pricing adjustments" or whatever nonsense they called it. For a salad! I was expecting a price that matched the tiny portion of lettuce and random toppings I got, not some overinflated bill. Is this what they consider “premium” pricing? It’s insulting.
Now, let’s talk about the quality of the salad. I can’t believe they have the audacity to charge the prices they do for what I was given. My "fresh" salad was limp, sad, and lacking in any real flavor. The lettuce was wilting as if it had been sitting out for hours, and the toppings were sparse—like they were rationing out the ingredients. I’ve had better salads at cheap grocery store delis. The dressing? Don’t even get me started. It was so bland I could barely taste it. I was left wondering if the entire thing was just a cruel joke or some sort of punishment for daring to pay their ridiculous prices.
And just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, I had to wait forever for my order. The workers were too busy chatting with each other to care about getting my salad to me in a timely manner. I stood there, watching them move in slow motion, as the minutes ticked by.
Sweetgreen, you are a scam. The prices are beyond ridiculous, the service is abysmal, and the food doesn’t even remotely justify what you’re charging. I’ll never come back, and I’ll make sure everyone I know knows about this disaster of a restaurant. Consider this my official warning to anyone thinking of visiting: don’t waste your time or money. There are way better salad spots out there that actually know how to treat customers and serve food that doesn’t taste...
Read moreThus was my 3rd times going to this location. Their customers service went from so so to worse. I cant blame the staffs because the manager acted the same way. Anyway. The last time i was there, i got my order ready to paid. The cashier who just finished with other customer supposed to ring my order as well. But he/she keeps talking to the customer about perfume and make up while i was standing there waiting yo paid. Eventually, they exchanged phone numbers and the cashier as the customer to meet up. When they’re all done . The cashier just stands there like i wasn’t there at all. The guy at the other end was helping other customer, told him to ring my order, he stood there and just look at me. So i look at him/her too . Again, nothing happened. At one point, one of the lady from the kitchen came out with a clipboard. I would think she was a supervisor or someone in charge didn’t say or do anything. The other guy raised his voice a little louder and said, ring his order. Again he/she look at me, nothing happened, so the other guy finished the order and came over said to the cashier “come on man ring his order “ and he/she look at me again, and said to the guy “I didn’t know it was his order “ no apology or nothing. He/she just said to me “insert your card”. This is my last time going to this location. The one in Dedham way better. I hope the owners read this and do something about the staff. The staffs don’t seem to care about...
Read moreI visited the Chestnut Hill location. It had been a while since I came to this location. They renovated and made some changes to the menu. I ordered the goddess salad and added pickled onions but removed the carrots. I LOVE their salads. All the food is very fresh. The staff is helpful and the line moves quickly. I placed my order on the app while in the restaurant. When I placed the order, no one else was waiting, and there was no line. The preparer started my order as I watched, he was just about done with my order when a customer came in. Instead of finishing my order, he put it to the side, left it on the counter, and walked away to help the customer. It bothered me because all he had to do was put the cover on it, and my order would be completed, but he left it out in the open to prepare the walk-in's order. Thankfully, one of the other staff saw that I was waiting and proceeded with completing my order. She was very kind and attentive. I do enjoy the food at this establishment. It is always clean, and the utensils and napkin area is always fully stocked. (It's the little things I appreciate) They have a wide variety of add ons to design the salads to your liking. Great price for the amount of salad you receive. Every time I am in this area, I make it a point to stop and order a salad. Try them, you won't be...
