One of our favorite places in the area. It’s one of a dying breed- a small, independently-owned shop whose owner (Anita, I think) genuinely loves the community and gives back every day by taking pride in her status as the local employer of choice for polite and promising students. Each employee here learns how to run a small business and how to treat customers from someone who does the same flawlessly. I know Anita takes pride in this distinction because we have Irish triplets (3 and 2) and we take them here at least twice a week, and one day she commented that she hopes some day they will work at the shop. That stayed with me- what a great comment and what a tremendous way to think about business and community....oh yea and their ice cream is legitimately the best I’ve ever had. I would consider my wife an ice cream afficionado and she agrees (there’s only one place in Westford that may stack up but the name escapes me.) Try to purple cow—the best! Whoever came up with that flavor is a mad scientist/genius. I keep going back for it every few days. I even call Wally's beforehand to make sure they still have it in stock....
