Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Newtown Township

I ordered my food for delivery at 8:30 pm . Around 8:40 food was being “checked” for quality. At 9pm the tracker said that the driver was in my neighbor hood. Around 9:10 I decided to call the store thinking that the driver was having a hard time finding my location . Only to hear that the driver had caught a flat and they were sending another driver to pick up the food and have it delivered. To which I was totally understanding of . Around 9:40 I decided to call back as the store is only 12-13 mins away from my location, to which I was told the new driver has arrived to pick up my food from the other one. So I thought cool. Let them have some time, because I was currently at work and that’s why I ordered. 10:30 I decided to call back to which this time the manager had finally been made available to me after “being in the bathroom” for the hour or so. To which he told me that the two employees were trying to fix the flat tire before finishing up deliveries. So it would be about 20-30 mins before I could get my food. At this point I just told him I don’t need the food anymore because that would make it 2 hr. And 30mins waiting for this meal. Knowing they wouldn’t be able to deliver it the least they could of done even though it would still be an inconvenience, but the least they could of done was offer to remake it so that it can be picked up. But it’s well past my break time. Here I am working an overnight shift . With no food , nothing . A big waste of time & because I waited for them other delivery places are closed and can’t order anything else. Ordered my pizza online at 6:42. Email said it’d be 23-33 minutes which was great because I’d have plenty of time to put my son to bed. I got a text at 7:29 that William was on his way. Then a text at 7:37 that he was in my neighborhood and my order would be delivered shortly. I watched on the tracker as he was close and then suddenly on the other side of town. Called the store at 8:01 - “It says it’s out for delivery.” 8:10 I call back when I see on the tracker that the driver is back at the store and I still haven’t gotten my pizza. The woman on the phone said yes, the driver was there, and that she’d have him deliver my pizza immediately - I’m less than 5 minutes away but couldn’t leave my house because my son would be alone. 8:41 I call back to ask if I misunderstood the previous conversation, and the woman told me she’d check with the driver to see where he was. At that point, I told her not to worry about it because I wasn’t waiting any longer to eat cold pizza. Two hours and still no food. Ended up scrounging up some leftovers from the fridge. I’m normally a pretty understanding person, but after this experience, I won’t be ordering from here again. There are plenty of mom and pop places around to give my money to. Weirdest experience of my life…

To preface this about a week or so ago my fiancé ordered some pizza and it said delivered and we never got it so we called and was on hold for like 10 mins until the picked up & hun up without a word , then picked up the phone after waiting on a second call telling us it’ll be there in 5. Ok so tonight we place our order and get a call from the store. They said we have a customer note in their system that said something like “ do not complete order “ or “ do not serve “ or something and he is supposed to cancel but won’t which shout out to that guy because there was no reason ?? But he said someone put it in and he doesn’t know who but he’s the only one there and he was like why would this happen the was the day and it was the day they hung up on us ! ( mind you that was before even talking to us when we finally did talk on second phone call it was like “ hi , ok , bye “ ….. this all felt really weird and made me feel uncomfortable. So anyway our pizza comes and the driver is on the phone fighting with my fiancé about his tip telling him he needs to tip better! Mind you we don’t tip bad ( our meal only cost us $6 ) Just because this is a nicer area doesn’t mean we can just piss away money … I’m ordering dominos for a reason lol!
