My friend took me here today for a surprise! It started out lovely and she felt terrible that she forgot to mention I was a vegetarian. I told her, please don't worry about it. So, I decided to try the chicken salad croissant (because she was so aggravated for forgetting) and to my surprise, it had a fairly good sized bone in it. Luckily I didn't bite hard, but it poked the roof of my mouth. I was disappointed that no one offered anything to my friend as far as taking some of the bill or something toward a next visit. I felt terrible that my friend, who went to so much trouble to surprise me, had to pay full price for me getting a chicken bone in my food. Otherwise, it was a nice luncheon. Addendum! Read moreThis is a good place to go with kids on a rainy day or when your out of town company wants to experience something 'local'. The tour is surprisingly short - about 30 minutes - but the guide was one of the owners of the company so he was very knowledgeable, welcoming and willing to answer everyone's questions. Following the tour, our group received sweet samples and enjoyed visiting the gift shop where the prices were reasonable.
