I've been here for 22 years and I will not be back. I'll bash this place to everyone who brings it up.
Horrible service! Manager is EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. Screams over the phone, refuses to listen, refuses to cooperate and hangs up rather than provide me the information to forward my complaint up the chain after I decided I wasn't going to stand there and he accused of lying over and over. Because she insists I can’t distinguish a 4 fl oz container from a full cup. Apparently she’s a mind reader on the side.
If these people get an assumption in their heads it becomes fact, some how. And if you disagree with it, look out!!
Asked her to correct an order or disprove my claim and was accused of lying. Over the phone!
Danny's has a stunning lack of attention to detail. And an inability to confess to mistakes. Giving the impression that you must eat what they give you. Regardless of what is actually ordered.
The one consistent negative comment is about the lack of professionalism.
When I called back I was filibustered and hung up on.
Now she's ducking my calls.
Employees aren’t much better. They refuse to listen and get defensive because they feel they’re being looked down on for working at a fast food place. (That’s not an assumption. Both made repeated references to their petty inferiority complexes.)
The employee even claimed to know how I received my order until I told it was delivered.
Avoid this place until they get better, more dignified, staffing.
This manager is a poor representation of, what used to be, a decent place for second rate red beans and rice.
Their chicken is mostly breading. More like pigeon.
UPDATE: A Danny’s employee named Linda is actually trolling me over Facebook over this, now.
Avoid this place. The drama...
Read moreWe had an unfortunate run in with Danny's. My husband got Danny's for my birthday party and ordered a dozen biscuits. The biscuits were charged to my husband's card, but we never received them. Throwing a birthday party and entertaining guests is stressful enough, so dealing with the lack of biscuits right then was not high on his priority list. We called Danny's the next day and were told that we should have called the day of the party and spoken with the manager because all of the orders were already sent to the "mainframe" and could not be accessed. I told her that we had a receipt showing that we order the biscuits and that it was the day before. She stated that we would need to come in and when the owner got in he would be able to access the mainframe and then we could possibly get the dozen biscuits that we paid for. This is absurd and far too much work to put a customer, who paid for an item and never received them, through. Next time ensure that your baggers are correctly bagging items so that your paying customers do not have to go through...
Read moreI am shocked that this local small business has survived this long. They serve basic fried chicken, lacking seasoning, lacking flavor, and bland. The fries and onion rings were bland, lacking salt, and greezzzzzy! Coleslaw & Potato salad was obviously Sysco or Walmart. The Danny's sauce was CONFUSING! It resemble a honey mustard, but tasted spicy and was super watery and seemed more like a coleslaw mayo based sauce. Disgusting! The chicken tenders/fingers are EXTREMELY small in size. I don't understand why they'd cut the typical chicken finger down to make FOUR chicken fingers out of ONE tender and definitely NOT worth $10.50 for a meal and two sides. I can't believe they charge $8.99 for a large onion ring!!! $8.99 for a fried ONION! Fountain Soda (Coke Products) $2.69 a CUP!!! Fountain Soda – The markup of a restaurant fountain soda is about 1,125% Danny's Coke markup is over 2,000% If the Burger King across the street wasn't being run by a bunch of crackheads, I would've eaten over there. Two people at Danny's cost me...
