First Choice Buffet — Restaurant in Niceville

I will not spend a single penny at this location ever again. I went for lunch with my daughter today. She got the buffet as usual and I was ordering off the menu as I have an onion allergy. I always get Beef and Broccoli no rice sub lo mein noodles. I had the older male server and he was not understanding as there was a language barrier. He didn't understand what I was saying and first rolled his eyes at me. Then after several attempts he went to the kitchen and put in my order and told the kitchen about my onion allergy and they laughed very loudly. Yes we can hear ya'll on the dinning room. What do you know he brought me out a combo and the low mein noodles had onions🤬🤬🤬 He got very loud and rude with me and talking down to me where everyone could here. I got up and left immediately. I did pay for my daughter's buffet. He tried apologizing, but the damage had already been done. I can't trust them with my life with cooking my food and you DO NOT treat guests like that!

It’s a Chinese Buffett with no competition in a small town so they don’t really have a lot to show for themselves. 2.5 stars is my honest rating. Unless you get the food as soon as it’s put out it’s gonna be room temp/cold. They don’t seem to have tray warmers for the food left out so choose wisely. It was $12.95 per person so you get what you pay for and maybe less. Cold bar shrimp and oysters always makes me itch a little so that was surprising it’s not made to order along with their sushi bar. The sushi looked like it had been sitting there for at least an hour. The restrooms are below average and you can tell they don’t get mid shift cleanings. Overall it was underwhelming. Maybe if they had some competition in the local area they would step their quality of food game up but until then I won’t be returning. (Also parents should be more keen to not allowing their children to run through the Buffett almost knocking plates out of peoples hands. It’s not up to the wait staff to babysit...

Make this buffet your last choice.. The entire restaurant is in serious need of remodeling. Walk in and and quickly you will see that they care very little about cleanliness or the condition of the place as a whole. Seating is in disrepair & most of the place is in bad condition and you really don't want to know what the bathrooms look like. The workers that have been there the longest seem to have disdain for their patrons which I can understand to some extent with the state of current society but it's no way to run a business. I will say when they opened long ago it was great & often my first choice but due to the lack of care and upkeep I've steered away from this establishment. I've had it twice recently and sadly it's continuing to go downhill. I truly hope and would be happy to see the owners or possibly new management could step in and...
