I wouldn't know if the pizza was any good because there was not any out when I went there. At the time, my father had just died and I had not ate in about 3 days. I found the price, 10 dollars a plate, to be rather high. Also, the plates and cups are all paper. I had a salad, which was great. I got a plate of pasta and sauce as that was all that was there. The pasta sauce was nasty. It was worse than store brand canned ravioli. I took one bite. I never complain at restaurants, but given the low quality of the food and extra high price. (CeCe's was half as much and better.) I asked to speak to the manager. The twit behind the counter referred to me as Sir even though I am very obviously a woman. I lost my voice from the funeral. The manager comes out and I explain to him about the food. I ask for a partial refund. He tells me he does not give refunds. I asked, "why?" and he very rudely, yelled "I don't know how much you ate!" I assured him that I DID NOT gorge on his nasty, vial pasta and there was no pizza even out. He very rudely slammed 20 dollars on the counter. And that was that. I have not been back never will. EVEN IF I WERE WRONG, this man was an unprofessional, jerk. I would have been happy with a coupon or...
Read moreSometimes these buffets are underwhelming and something you do once. I've found it really depends on each individual owner. This location was really good and we will definitely go back. The entire restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms. (My husband checked the men's and he is tougher than me on public bathrooms).
The salad ingredients were really fresh and there was a nice variety. The area around the salad bar specifically the dressings was very clean which shows me that someone is regularly checking on it. make sure it stays that way. Sometimes Giovanni's buffets the variety of pizza is small - cheese, pepperoni, maybe pepperoni and sausage. Here, they did quite a few options. our favorite was the barbecue chicken pizza as well as the breadsticks in the dessert sticks. Those were great! I gave a 5 for service because of the cleanliness and constant restocking of the buffet, there wasn't any table service. It would be nice if they added some background music or turned up the volume on the televisions because I'm not a fan of hearing everyone around me eating their food.
Check this one out. In this economy to find a place that's affordable and...
Read moreBeen going to this Giovannis pizza for a long time now with my son, his girlfriend and my granddaughter. The people that work here know us very well and usually had great service but my last trip definitely ruined the previous visits. When being checked out after our meal, I was always given a Military discount, and my granddaughter, whom is 5, was always charged $1.99. On our last trip, I decided to pay, showed my Military I.D., which they already have seen 100 times, and they knew about my granddaughter because it was the store manager, whom we deal with on every visit, whom knows us very well. But for some reason, I was charged full price for my meal and was charged an adult buffet for my 5 year old granddaughter whom only eats a piece of pizza and a couple of bread sticks when she was supposed to be charged the $1.99 price. If it was a new employee, this would have been discussed with management but since it was management that done this, here's where I'll complain. He knew he was overcharging me and still done it. Honesty is priority in anything so I won't...
