Hardee's — Restaurant in Nicholasville

Amy at the drive thru window was rude and hateful. I asked for pink packs of sweetener and they put regular sugar in my bag. Asked for 8 cream and got 4. My hash rounds weren’t in the bag. Asked for 3 more packs of ketchup and was told she put it in the bag and she should have charged me for cream. I called and talked to Joy and she said they only charge if you get more than 10 cream. She apologized for Amy’s attitude. We eat their breakfast food all the time and I just don’t understand the attitude this lady gives off every time we go through there. I don’t even know her, it shouldn’t matter. If Amy doesn’t like people or working at Hardee’s then maybe she needs to get a job elsewhere. Why treat people like they’re nothing and when you spend $15-25 each time you go there I feel like I’m allowed to get ketchup and cream for my coffee. That is all! I would have paid for it if I had gotten more than the allotted amount!!! But I’d didn’t. SMH. Try to smile Amy, life...

Ordered 2 basic hamburgers, which were kids burgers, that weren't supposed to have cheese. I hate cheese. They both had cheese on them. Also ordered a strawberry shake with extra strawberry syrup, of which I got the lightest colored strawberry shake I've ever seen. So that means not only did they not put extra, I would argue they likely didn't even put the normal amount in.

If this was any other day, I probably would have called and just got my money back or a credit for next time and left it at that. But they caught me at a bad time and had to add to my day. So for that, they get 1 star. I'll still call and get my credit though.

I just found out Hardee's has a hot ham and cheese sandwich. 😁 The bun is just perfect for this type of sandwich; not too heavy, not too light like sandwich bread would be; it's goldy locks, just right. The ham is piled high. The cheese is perfectly subtle (the way I like it) with just a mild tanginess. All in all I would say it's a perfect sandwich offering for a lighter lunch or dinner choice. Pair it with their brand new shoestring fries (very much like you get from the restaurant with the golden arches) 🍟. Love it. Love the hot ham and cheese. Love the new French fries.
