Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Niles Township

We placed the order online at 630 to be ready at 715, which I figured should be plenty of time. I arrived a little bit late and still no order was on the shelf. There were already 7 or 8 people waiting by the shelf and a dozen people in line so I assumed they were just a bit behind. After 5 minutes of still not getting my order, I politely asked how much longer for mine. The woman at the counter mentioned not receiving some orders but she appeared to look for it and call out the name to prepare my order. After ten more minutes, I asked about my order again, only to be told that they don't have it. I don't understand how I was completely ignored the first time. She then proceeded to actually look up and print my order to be made. My order was not prioritized even after that and I even had to ask again ten minutes later to actually receive my order. No apology. The food had been completed but just sat there instead of someone packing it and giving me the food. This location clearly does not know how to run a business. I would have been better off waiting in line as probably two dozen customers walked in and got food before me. Any advanced orders were completely ignored as there were still many people picking up that we still waiting after I left and these people were not even being acknowledged. If they know there is an issue with the system, they need to address it and figure out who is waiting for what. Otherwise the customers are waiting around for nothing. Especially with Covid, I would think that they would try to get people in and out rather than having many customers standing around waiting and not being...

Honestly, I used to order here all the time for lunch and it was decent quality. Within the last few month it has really dropped off. Today, I received an order where the rice was just fully undercooked and hard to chew. A couple of grains is not atypical in my experience, but to have multiple full bites be this way was outrageous. Not to mention there was barely a scoop of rice in there to begin with. I tried calling to relay feedback and get assistance, but of course the whole system is automated and impossible to get through. Instead, made sure to report it to doordash and decide to get my lunches elsewhere from now on. Updated 3/14

I gave it another go but I am done ordering from this location. It is completely unreal how bad and low effort their food is put together now. I ordered a burrito bowl. Hardly any lettuce, barely any rice, and absolutely drenched in sour cream. While there was (surprisingly this time) tons of meat on it, it was also the wrong meat. I don't even order beans to go with it, so this is sparse for 1) the price and 2) the quality of the meal. Just ordered and the worst experience ever on a pickup order. Never again will I or my friends patronize this Chipotle next to Barnes and Nobles. My friends a straight up vegan and you ruined his by putting corn, rice and meat so it went straight in the trash. The non vegan had no meat and the other hell fire small portioned backwards labeled and messed sits in the Lakeshore Toxic bin at the corner All 3 bowls distinctive in ordering for flavor, diet and itemized so you cannot fk it up ...all 3 were messed up.
