Crumbl — Restaurant in Niles Township

First time going into this location over the weekend to pick up celebratory desserts. (Normally Uber eats em) Probably won’t ever come back to this location. Our family looooovvveees crumbl desserts but not the attitude!! There were three employees working and not one greeted us when walking in. They sounded like they were having a meeting talking about the week. As it was my first time in store I had NO CLUE we were to order through a kiosk so I was there for almost 10 mins before the smaller young lady with the dark framed glasses informed me. (Unfortunately did not get her name but She ended up being super nice and very apologetic that they were out of other flavors) Pretty sad to see they were out of almost all the flavors including their original chocolate chip and it was only about 4pm! The people who were working from the back area were super rude! not only by the looks they gave but also when I would ask questions or when I asked to switch a flavor the lady tossed the cookie back and shook her head. Legit such a horrible customer service experience! At first I felt embarrassed ordering them but then remembered IM PAYING FOR THE COOKIES (and they weren’t cheap!) so they could have done their job a lot nicer! Walking into the store, I felt the negative energy come across me. Not a single welcome. Just a rude and disgusting look from the employee with glasses on. I was ecstatic to try a new cookie, to come across it was nothing like it was advertised. The cookie was tiny with absolutely no strawberry, even though it was marketed as a “Strawberry Crinkle Cookie”. Don’t even get me started on the state of the cookie itself. The cookie was rock solid, almost impossible to break in half or even bite (I couldn’t even try). This was very disappointing as it was a cookie on the expensive side, especially given my high expectations. I had hoped for a treat that would justify the price and the hype, but instead, I left feeling completely let down. What made this even worse was the employee’s dismissive demeanor. It was as if he couldn’t care less about the quality of the product or the satisfaction of the customers. For a cookie on the expensive side, I expected much better, both in the product and the service. Instead, I left disappointed and frustrated, feeling like I’d been ripped off thanks to his careless attitude. Between the lackluster customer service and the subpar product, I doubt I’ll be returning to this store anytime soon. I went to this crumbl for the first time and it was a very different experience than other crumbl locations I have visited. The employees were rude and dismissive and it seemed like I was inconveniencing them by just by walking into the store. When I arrived, the staff were sitting in the back and yelled over to me that two of the cookies were not available. Unfortunately I did not know the name of the cookies prior to ordering so the names were unfamiliar to me. I accidentally ordered one of the cookies they mentioned because it didn’t sound like the name they told me about. When they got the order in their system they got really frustrated and their response was rude and disrespectful. If they had only treated me with more kindness and actually come to the store front to point out which cookies were out of stock, it would have been much better service.
