I'm shocked this place has such high reviews. I came in for the first time to get 2 bubble milk teas on a Friday afternoon. I confirmed which was the plain black milk tea and was told I should get brown sugar milk tea. I didn't want that. I ordered regular black milk tea and strawberry milk tea. There were two orders in front of me. It took 15 minutes to get my order. When I finally did, I noticed that the strawberry had no milk in it. I asked why and reminded the guy that I had ordered milk tea. He said they don't make it with milk. I asked why it would be on the list of milk tea options, and he said they only make black and brown sugar tea with milk because adding milk to the rest would "taste bad". Really? Thai iced tea tastes bad with... milk?? I asked again why there'd be so many options under milk tea when they don't make them with milk, and he said that I should get a smoothie or brown sugar milk tea. I said I don't want either (and why so obsessed with brown sugar milk tea?). Meanwhile he's holding onto my drinks. I asked for them, but he wouldn't give them to me. I had already paid. He started getting irritated and kept saying I should taste the strawberry and if I didn't like it he'd make me something else. At this point, I was beyond uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. I kept saying it was fine, I'll just take the drinks. After a few rounds of this, he gave them to me and I left. All this was made more complicated by him having either a thick accent or some kind of speech impediment that made it harder to understand him, especially since I have hearing loss. This whole situation was utterly bizarre. It's a shame because the black milk tea was actually good. But not at all worth 25 minutes of utter frustration and gaslighting over $15...

It's a new bubble tea place close to my house, so I will definitely come back! I ordered their Brown Sugar Milk Tea with black crystal boba. It was good, a little on the sweet side, but good nonetheless. I don't really like tapioca, so I was ecstatic when I was able to substitute it with Crystal boba. It's the same jelly taste but not as chewy as tapioca. I also got their coconut gelato, and it's amazing. It tasted really good, and there are coconut chunks in it.
