Hi, I never like to write reviews but I am extremely upset with what happened to me last night! I've ordered from porto's before and yesterday I ordered a family platter for guest. We received fries which were enough to feed 1 child and soggy and then the chicken was all pink and bloody inside. I was furious when I called to speak to them they were extremely rude started speaking in urdu about me while I'm on the phone and stating they did not believe me. I got angry and told them I had kids and pregnant people over who could have got sick from eating this! We sent them pictures and they stopped responding . I am a healthcare provider and the safety of peoples health is a big concern and when handling peoples food it is very important to pay attention to such things. If they would have apologized I would have dropped it, but the fact that they had little children working there and being disrespectful really bothered me. Oh and lastly while talking to them over the phone the kid on the phone told me to "chill" and put me on hold mid sentence. I hope this does not happen to anyone else in the future. It is not worth the price, food or service to...

All my cousins rave about Port of Peri Peri, and after my second or third time there, I can see why they love it. It’s a solid spot! What I really like is that you can customize your spice level—they’ve got a few ranges, from lemon herb to hot. I went with “hot” this time, and wow, it was way too spicy for me. But if you’re into spicy food, you’ll love it. If not, the milder options are still flavorful.

I got the veggie burger, and it was actually really delicious! It’s not your typical veggie burger with cheese and condiments—it’s unique, and I’d definitely order it again. We also tried their fries, which were great, especially with all the sauces they have. Honestly, the sauces are a game-changer—they make everything taste better. We also got their salad, which was just okay, but again, once you add the sauces, it’s a lot better.

The place itself is very casual—not fancy at all—but it’s clean and does the job. If you’re craving something with unique, bold flavors and customizable spice levels, I’d definitely recommend checking it out. I’ll for...

Edited review** I used to love this place and even put up with the lack of service. However as of late my sentiment has changed a lot. The service levels have decreased from what seemed to be rock bottom to even worse.

Last time we ordered, the chicken was undercooked. Upon telling the staff the next time we were there, they said "ok so you want well done this time". Basically not acknowledging their fault at all. This is chicken guys !!! It's cooked or raw. There is no such thing as well done chicken.

Original review- The food here is amazing. Also I have noticed that the service speeds have improved significantly over the years.

The chicken is always seasoned right and is a great healthy choice for me and my family. I recommend getting the leg quarters if you're a fan of dark meat.

I will say however that there are times that the chicken seems undercooked on our last few visits.

Also I did notice that they have cut back a lot on the condiments such as ketchup and moist towelettes for...

Never been here before, sort of difficult to spot from the street. Ordered the chicken and rice bowl (under $10) and 6 medium wings ($6.50ish) and a fountain drink with free refills ($2.35). Was enough for my girlfriend and I. Everyone (working) was very pleasant and smiling. Food was great. Got the salted caramel chocolate brownie with pretzel crust for dessert ($2.99?)Was asked if we wanted it warmed up. He happily brought 2 spoons out for us. This was on Christmas day in Skokie and everything else except McDonalds was closed. People who complain about price forget the ridiculous sales tax in Illinois and this county. This is why $50 in food costs $57 *everywhere*.

Port of Peri Peri offers a delightful culinary experience centered around grilled chicken. Their extremely flavorful peri peri seasoning adds a unique zest to every bite, making each dish a savory delight. I personally love the full bird with mild sauces. The pita bread is fresh and the fries are amazing because they season is so well with the spices. With a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service, it's the perfect spot for a casual and satisfying meal!
