Finally got a chance to check out the new place in the neighborhood. Holy shit am I glad I did. I tried the chicken tikka masala slice off the workers recommendation. Was fresh off the oven It's a little bit spicy but not hot. This is not going to bring your mouth but it's got amazing flavor The chicken was super tender The sauce worked out really well as a base and the crust is phenomenal. A+ really really enjoyed this. I then got to try a chopped beef pizza. It's got a little bit of American cheese on there and then it's got the season chopped beef that they use for the sandwich and holy shit that was just amazing. Good flavor throughout the entire thing. Then I got some seasoned fries. These weren't my favorite. They were well seasoned They tasted good except I prefer my fries more crispy and crunchy and these got a little soggy possibly because they were inside the container in the moisture got them that way I wouldn't even say soggy about they're not crispy and crunchy. The garlic knots are really super poofy balls of dough with seasoning.I think we got some basil in here some type of garlic, butter, and parmesan mixed in there and then you get sauce to dip. these were so good. This was way better than I was expecting and I will absolutely be back. Such a great job making things that have delicious flavor and not breaking the bank over it.

Overall, my experience wasn’t bad at all. This is a charming little pizza shop that’s perfect for grabbing a quick slice. They offer a wide variety of pizza slices, which are displayed in the front for you to pick from—a fun and convenient setup. The price for a slice was about $5 and some change, but honestly, I felt the portion size didn’t match the cost. The slices are quite small and not very filling, so there’s definitely room for improvement in that area. That said, the pizza itself was still delicious and well-made, which helped make up for the size and price. One downside is the lack of dedicated parking. The shop only offers street parking, and because the area is so busy, finding a spot can be a challenge. On the bright side, the customer service was excellent. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick, which added to the overall experience. I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick, tasty slice of pizza and don’t mind the smaller portions or hunting for a parking spot.

I purchased two combo rice platters from Slyce, and unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. It was my first time trying their food, and they served me old rice that were so stale, they were crunchy. I even recorded a video where you can hear the hard rice hitting the plastic plate—imagine eating rice that felt like tortilla chips. After eating half the meal, I started feeling unwell the same day. By the next day, I was sick enough to have to cancel my plans, events, and appointments. For the price they charge, the portions are small, which is frustrating in itself. But paying a premium for stale food? Absolutely unacceptable. I’ve heard good things about their Lombard location, but after this experience, I’m not sure I’ll bother trying. If I could give this branch 0 stars, I would. I definitely don’t recommend this place to anyone.
