Some of the sweetest, most hospitable people own and work at this restaurant. All of the staff, from Mimi (Owner) and Nadine to the chef, Mimi's brother, set a wonderful example on how all restaurants should be. 🥰 Every time we've come, they're always clean, VERY hospitable and make the food with so much love! We've always been greeted with warm smiles and leave with bigger smiles (and bellies) 😅 Twice, we've had their hearty lentil soup 🍲 while we waited for our meals which is warm to your soul and makes you forget all about chicken noodle 🍜 AND their fresh hummus with our pita bread which had this spicy 🌶 sauce inside which was soo different from other pitas we've had elsewhere. If you're a wuss, it's not too spicy and with the hummus, its such a wonderful combination 🤤 I've ordered the combo which is my favorite. Its this flavorful rice with fresh onions and yummy kabobs (chicken & lamb). My husband has had both their grilled and fried fish 🐟 Both are so tasty and the fried fish was nice and juicy but the grilled is better! The chef came out and squeezed fresh lemon over the grilled fish which added a burst of more flavor to it. 🤤 My favorite thing on their menu is their "pizza"! I forgot the name but my God that thing is soo good. Its not an actual pizza, but its this delicious pastry with minced meat with such bold flavor that comes with this delicious garlic butter sauce. With both times, we always have leftovers and get to continue enjoying the food for 2 more days 🤤🤤🤤 As great as the food is, our favorite part is the service. These are some of the friendliest and most respectable people I've come across. 🙌🏾💯 They make me mad that I moved out of state 🥺😒 It is NOT the same down here in Florida 🥴 Mimi, pardon me 🙏🏾. I can't believe this whole time I haven't left a review here yet. Google reminded me of the pictures I took and then I remembered I need to come back to leave a wonderful & honest review. 💯🙌🏾 May God bless your business and your beautiful family. We look forward to seeing you again!

This was first time at The Sarra Grill, but l hope it won't be the last. I met with two dear GF's there for what turned out to be a long, delicious, leisurely lunch. It was like being back in Beirut, Lebanon, when l lived there long ago. Luckily, it was between the lunch and dinner sessions, so we had the place pretty much to.ourselves. We began with a lentil soup that was... well, phenomenal. My friend ordered 2 cups. Then we ordered lunch. I had the chicken kabob plate that was incredibly flavorful, along with a lovely salad with a great lemon and Olive oil dressing, amazing rice and tons of fresh pita bread. It was a feast! The restaurant, while unimposing on the outside, inside, has an authentic feel of being in the Middle East at a small, special eatery. Clean, bright and willing to accompany patrons who clearly come to eat and stay all day. Nadine, our server was just divine! She attended to our every wish, and was so inviting, we found out we knew some of the same people in Beirut where she was from! All in all, a lovely, quaint and delicious place to eat. Great food and lovely people...what's not to love?

This has got to be one of the best little gems we have found in a loooong time. My coworkers and I wanted middle eastern food, but our usual place closed down. The reviews for Sarra Grill are outstanding, so we decided to roll the dice. Again, we went there around noon for lunch. We were able to park directly in front of the restaurant. We went in, and we were able to sit immediately because we were the only ones there (which I soon failed to understand why). They have a lunch special for $9.95 that is a platter with little bits of all of your favorites: hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, chicken kebab, beef kabob, rice, etc. We all decided just to go with that to try everything at once. What an amazing deal! It was a great amount of food for the dollar value, and it was all absolutely delicious. Also worth noting, the staff is so incredibly nice and polite and wonderful! I have nothing bad to say about any of this restaurant. You can feel how much they care throughout your experience. This is probably going to be one of our regular spots, now!

The food at Sarra is simply outstanding and the service is class A. I have ordered from Sarra once before. I was greeted by a nice young lady, Nadine, with a beautiful smile and great service. After trying their food I decided to order from Sarra Grill for a party I was hosting and my experience from start to end was a great one. I met with the owner "Baba". Baba agreed to deliver it personally. The delivery was right on time. The presentation was beautiful and the food was delicious. The flavors were spot on. I have been trying to find a restaurant in chicago that has great and authentic Arabic food and flavors. I usually find favorable Arabic food in Michigan around the Detroit area. Sarra Grill in skokie is it in the chicago area. Although it is new to the area but their food and service are excellent. The kabob is a true Iraqi kabob (kabob Arbeel) the tabouli was delicious, great Lebanese/Syrian flavor. We also enjoyed the chicken sharwma and the fatoosh. The falafel was home made which was very good. The babaghanooj was so buttery and smokey. Everything was delicious. The quantity was more than generous. I could have easily fed another 10 people. The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Sarra Grill for lunch/dinner or catering...
