It saddens me to have to write this review because it is not about the food. It is about the customer service. I previously went and ordered some rolled chicken tacos, and from my understanding, they came plain. The reason I assumed that they came plain is because they asked me what I wanted on them, so I said lettuce and cheese. The hurricane came back and was good, of course, because again the food is not the problem. It was the customer service. Fast-forward, go to the drive-through and order the same thing; this time it comes with guacamole on it. But again they asked me what I wanted on it, and I said lettuce and cheese. When I get my order and I notice the mistake, I go into the restaurant and explain to them in a nice manner that I didn’t know that it came with guacamole because previously I ordered, and it was plain. The guy from the kitchen comes to the counter and tells me that he will remake them… get my order back and check the food again just to notice that he flipped them upside down and added more lettuce and cheese… again, I go back in there and I try to explain to them that I did not know that it came with guacamole and that I understand that they are busy, but things like that will make them lose customers. (You shouldn’t have to tell the restaurant that you’re all allergic to something for them to remove it) They threw away my old order and did remake my new order. After receiving my new order, I again tried to explain to him that I did not come at them in any type of disrespectful manner; I was not rude or anything. I was just trying to simply get an understanding, because again…. I SPEND MY MONEY HERE OFTEN, I ENJOY THE FOOD! The cook from the kitchen was kind of understanding, but just kept saying that I should have told him that I was allergic to guacamole… the lady was extremely rude. Brushing me off. Causing him to just walk back in the back. Again, it says to me that I have to write this long. Stupid review about bad customer service because I really do enjoy the food, but I just...
Read moreThis was my first experience here. I noticed they opened but never visited until today. While on the expensive side, I have to admit, it was worth it. I had the home made Horchata which tastes literally perfect, rich with cinnamon but not too sweet or in your face. Along with the Horchata I ordered the fish burrito. Wow, was it delicious. The pico stood out amongst the fried fish and cabbage with seasonings and a creme fresh type of cream mixed in with the tomatoes and cilantro, etc, it was mouth watering. The tortillas they use taste homemade and fresh. My only gripe is they were a bit too conservative with the fish. For how expensive their burritos are, they can fill it in more. I may be an exception and others have stated they fill their tacos deep, but that's okay as I will have another opportunity to try their steak burrito as I get the feeling these guys are the real deal.
Overall, it...
Read moreWonderful food. I got the vegetarian buritto and it was amazing. The pico was so fresh. My boyfriend ordered the carnitas burrito. He even came back the next morning to get breakfast. He's from California so he's been looking for a place where he can get a REAL burrito. My only issue is I wish they had a better tortilla.
We ate inside for lunch (around 11ish) and it wasn't that busy inside, but it definitely picked up by noon. The service was wonderful. When we ordered we were offered samples of drinks. I kicked myself that I didn't try the horchata. Next time I will try it though. We ordered our food and sat. They even brought our food to us and included jalapeno and carrots. Very nice touch and something my boyfriend commented was common in California to include.
Overall we'll be back and back again. This is an...
