Read moreI picked up a to go order on July 25th that was supposed to be 5 bowls. I got all the way home and there were only 3 bowls in the bag. I called the store and talked to William Lopez. He apologized and said he would refund my entire order and give me 5 free bowls next time I came in and asked me to please not leave them a bad review. He called me back a few minutes later and said that he was unable to refund the entire order because I ordered through the regular web browser and not the app but said to come back whenever for 5 free bowls. Fair enough. I called Grub Hub and was refunded for the two bowls I didn't receive. Yesterday, September 19th, I went in to get my 5 free bowls. The girl behind the counter said William wasn't there but she would get the other manager. He came out and said he couldn't honor that because it would affect his food cost and was too long ago and that I should have came back within 3 weeks 😡. I was never told there was a time frame. I still had William's cell phone number in my phone so I called him and he answered. Meanwhile the other manager called his GM. He said they could do 50% off. William said he was sorry and if he was there he would give them to me. He said he wanted to talk to the manager there. I handed him my phone and he called William stupid. I proceed to stand in line, order the bowls, tell the young lady that it's supposed to be 50% off if she needed to go back and get the manager. She goes to get him and said he won't give me the 50% off and also won't give me his name or come out because he was in a meeting 😤. I am just getting started with this. You've messed with the wrong girl. Don't go to the Niles Bibibop! Terrible management...
Read moreWith the exception of Greek, Italian, American and Mexican, there is a shortage of ethnic foods in the Warren/Niles area. And Asian eateries are in short supple and good Asian eateries is even shorter. So I was curious when Bibibop opened it doors. Located in the Eastwood Malll complex, it is easily seen and has plenty of parking. I would describe Bibibop as an Asian version of Chipotle. You pick a bowl size then choose from a "buffet" of Asian and SW Asian dishes. The variety is large and your bowl can hold a lot of food. We saw foods being replenished, but I can see dishes getting "stale" and dry. So check out your choices. Bowls are presented.there are fountain drinks and flavored teas. And a heated bowl of miso. We missed lunch and were famished when we came to Bibibop. At $14 a person, I felt like we got our money's worth. I enjoyed the mixture of flavors and textures. The curried chickpeas and kitchen were excellent. The rice a bit dry. But we enjoyed the meals and will go back.
