Burger King — Restaurant in Niles

Employees here are incredibly rude and unprofessional. I stood at the counter waiting to pick up my mobile order for 15 mins and was completely (and very purposely) ignored by every single person “working”. All 4 of them were standing around talking to each other and doing NOTHING while they also had a long line in the drive thru. Finally after a while someone, maybe a manager, came inside and asked if I had been helped. Turns out my order was sitting there the whole time. These aren’t just teens, but also grown adults that don’t know how to be respectful human beings. I say this specifically because I got to listen to them all discuss their ages with each other.

Slightly earlier on this same day, my husband was waiting inside to pick up a door dash order. They were very busy and running very behind. Again, not a single person even so much as acknowledged his existence while he was waiting- but the worst part?? One employee stood at the register for TEN MINUTES just waiting until he could clock out. From 5:50pm until 6:00pm on the dot, he stood there not doing a damn thing.

Really sad. I understand working fast food sucks, but you can still be decent to other human...

This place is disgusting and racist!! A female African American employee was harassed until she finally quit. A white female worker would constantly run her mouth including incessant usage of the N word. Many employees had heard her saying these things including the General Manager. The incidents were reported to the General Manager, as well as to the District manager. Statements were submitted, nothing was done. She suffered for months after her statement was submitted to the company before she could not take it any longer. A second African American female stepped forward and wrote a statement regarding her own personal experience with the individual. Nothing was done. The insolent employee was fired months later, only because the head corporate office was alerted by victims. The assistant manager is an African American male. He makes less money than the shift managers that have less authority, as well as less seniority than him - all of whom are white, except for the newest addition, an African American female, who also makes less money than her white co-workers. Please tell me that you see something wrong with...

I'm 6 months pregnant. The wait was excessive, which usually I wouldn't mind. We spent $49.31 on a take out order. When we got our bags I checked them like I would anywhere else and realized I had been rung up for a spicy chicken sandwich instead of the spicy nuggets I requested. The manager Brooke went out of her way to get the 49cent difference for the nuggets, which I had to wait even longer for because they didn't have any ready, and angrily threw the sandwich in the trash. I don't know about you, but for an almost $50 order and spending roughly a half hour in a restaurant waiting, demanding the additional 49 cents is ridiculous. I hope they're happy that they gained such a large profit and lost a customer who was willing to spend $50 in a store where they are not valued or appreciated. The manager and the cashier were talking about me because I asked for the corporate number. Make sure you Google the actual corporate number because the one on the door is just an automated line. Maybe if we all contributed an additional 49 cents every time we ordered they could learn some manners....
