We decided to try the Cross Lanes location last night 4/29/22 because the Charleston location service and food has gotten to the point that we never get our order correct and the staff and management could care less. It started off shaky in that it took us about 20 minutes to get our first beer after ordering and the waitress told us the bartender was ‘in training’ that was the delay. We weren’t in a hurry so it wasn’t a huge deal but a little frustrating. Next we ordered our bone in wings how we always order them..extra crispy. We stressed to our waitress that we seriously didn’t care how long it took but we wanted them very well done and crispy. When we got the wings they were somewhat crispy but I have definitely gotten them crispier at other locations in the past. When we were done eating and ready to pay, I had a few coupons that I mentioned to the waitress. 2 of which were their store coupons on blazin rewards, one was a save around coupon. The waitress was unable to get any of the coupons to work other than I believe one of the store coupons..the manager came around several times to look at all the coupons and finally was able to get one store coupon to work, I believe she compensated us for the save around coupon because she couldn’t get it to work and then gave us a gift coupon for the next visit for the other store coupon. All said and done that coupon process took about 45 extra minutes of us just sitting there waiting to leave. The waitress and the manager seemed to be genuine and very friendly (waitress was very attentive and friendly and was completely on point for serving us food/drinks) but at the end of the day we shouldn’t have to wait 45 minutes for a store to figure out how to...
Read moreWe went in today for lunch & we were seated immediately. Now it was not too long after they had opened our server, Terrance came to our table asking if we'd like to start off with drinks & an appetizer. We had never been to a Buffalo Wild Wings before so we needed time to look at the menu. Terrence said I'll give you a minute but I'll bring back your drinks. He came back & we decided we didn't want an appetizer. He gave us a few minutes & we decided what we wanted & for every question we had, our server had a great personality, was not pushy or rude, & came prepared with an answer. My husband ordered a double stacked bacon cheeseburger but did not know what kind of sauce so he asked for it on the side. I ordered the Mango Habanero wings. Terrance came out a few minutes later with our food. The wait time wasn't even as long as I expected. Terrance had also found out the sauce on my husband's Burger. He was very friendly, very nice. We thanked him for our food & started eating. My wings, I'm not even complaining, were hotter than I expected. I wasn't even disappointed. I love spicy. But my wings exceeded my expectations of the heat. But I know when I go back, (which I will) I'll get something slightly less spicy. I told Terrance they were Spicer than I imagined but I ate them anyway. He asked would you like chocolate milk to help coat your tongue so you can enjoy your wings? (No extra charge). I said ya thank you so much. He came back with the chocolate milk & I certainly enjoyed my wings until I got full & asked for a box. He even came back with to go cups for our drinks. That young man was so pleasant, kind, polite. He definitely made our very first B-dubs experience totally worth it & we...
Read morePrices are high, Sampler was not available. Choice of ranch or veggie sticks or pay extra for both. I wish I had gotten our server's name because she was excellent! I ordered the boneless sampler(nachos, onion rings, wings and fries) for $15 but our server came back to tell me they are out of the onion rings and won't sub for them to allow me to still order the sampler. So instead I ordered the 10 piece boneless for $12 and no sides included. The wings had too many dry spots and needed more sauce. There were big pieces of gristle in most of the wings which was really annoying and surprised me because I have only ordered boneless wings from Wing Street and they never have gristle. So, for my husband's meal, 10 boneless wings, regular fries and sweet tea we paid $19 + tax. Kids meals include drinks for $6. Wings come with choice of ranch or carrot & celery sticks or pay extra for both.
I ordered sauces HOT and Honey BBQ. I would've liked the HOT to be a little more tangy. The Honey BBQ had some spice to it if you got a lot of sauce in one bite. There's also a Sweet BBQ. Next I'd like to try the mango...
