Absolutely awful! There were several items that were marked down, including the Christmas items and the last of the shorts inventory left over from Summer. The young man who checked us out the first time, didn't watch any of the prices and were were overcharged on everything except for one item. We realized as we went to pay. The lines were long and we just thought we would go over to customer service to get it taken care of and not hold up the line. That apparently was a bad decision because after waiting for a few minutes, one of the cashier's yelled over to let us know that no one could help us there and we needed to get back in another line. So we get back into a different gentleman's line. We wait patiently and get up there for him to tell us that he can't help us and we need to go get in the return line where we just came from. I told him that we had just come from there and were instructed to go get in another line so that's why we were in front of him. He then let us know that he could not do returns and we needed to get into a different line yet again. At this point, I was very frustrated. He asked if a cashier behind him could help and she said that she didn't know how to do returns either. We then get into someone else's line for now the fourth time after checking out for someone else to help us. She did a complete return of everything and started to check us out again. She didn't want to honor the one item that the previous cashier priced for us. She then went and looked at the Christmas candle and said that it was in fact not clearanced. The Christmas window cling was not clearanced because it was Hallmark. She did ring in the 3 pair of shorts correctly. For what should have been a simple and enjoyable experience, was miserable and took about half an hour extra after checking out.    Read moreTonight my husband an I went in Royal King for the Frog Togg cooling towels. After searching over in the shoes where they were located on the back wall and automotive, we came to the conclusion, they must be out or maybe they have some in the back. So we go to customer service. The guy calls for someone to go search the store. After walking half the store again, my husband suggest they check inventory on the computer cause hes tired of walking. So they go back to the front an finally figure out they are out. So we ask for a rain check. After waiting 15 minutes the guy figures out he don't know how to do a rain check. So he calls for a manager. 5-6 minutes go by an still no manager. A lady at register 3 needs a price check on a lamp. She calls for a manager. The guy at the service desk leaves us standing there like we were nobody an the person at register 3 is more important. Still haven't seen a manager. We finally left. Where are the managers? An why don't they have staff on hand that already know the system. I understand the store is new. That's why you have staff from other stores that are trained and you have more than one manager on duty while things are new. All we wanted was a rain check. Something that simple, turned into customers walking out of the store. đ That's not the way a big business such as Royal King should handle customer service in my opinion. I'm very disappointed.    Read moreWonderful people and decent store for everyday items and tools but i mostly use them for gun store pick up which they take care of me I just wish they had more people. Need an Out to lunch sign cause turning the light off didnât make me think at first it wasnât open or a sign for whenever the hours have to change so I got to come back I know whenâs a good time. A few chairs in the gun section to sit down as waiting is going to happen. Ohh you know what you could use one of those take a ticket machines so as Iâve been waiting for gun store to be open over 30mins some guy that just walks in screaming whereâs the people at doesnât jump in front of me cause he was the first to be answered buts it ok cause I really appreciate hard and helpful you work to get me on my way happily. ALSO THANK YOU FOR THE FLAME THROWER AND MAKING IT HAPPEN ON MY SHORT TIME SCHEDULE!!!
Update: so I went from 4/5 to 3/5 stars after wanting to order some rifles off another website which for whatever reason you guys are not listed on the dealers options. So I had to look for another gun store close by and I discovered Bridgeport. So much less of a hassle, so much more options to look around at and so much more ammo choices.
