Health concerns. So sad to leave this review. We went yesterday. We had about four different people to just tell us to leave. I thought they meant because it was so slow. I know it’s a new business so I wanted to give them a try. I expected some wait but after waiting in line for 15 minutes they told us just go sit where ever you can find a place. We sat down with no menus. After 40 minutes they gave us the menus and said they would be right back to get our drink order. It was an hour before they got them. We waited again for about 20 minutes to get our food order taken care of. I understand it’s new so I wasn’t too concerned. The waitress didn’t seem to have sections so everyone was confused. They went around placing food at the wrong tables and then coming back to bring them to where they thought it went. After waiting 2 hours our food wasn’t done. I went to the bathroom and as soon as I opened the door the smell was AWFUL. Both toilets were completely backed up. There was water all over the floor. I tried to put some napkins down for them. I went to tell them out front and by the front where they cooked was covered in water too! I told them my concerns and they said they knew there was issues. I came back to them telling everyone there was no more ice. The AC wasn’t working or was barely working last night. After leaving the bathroom I couldn’t eat. I hope those issues get fixed so...
Read moreWe ate at Roma's today, located beside Lowes in Cross Lanes near the casino. The restaurant is very clean with a large, newly paved parking lot.
This was our first visit and wanted to wait a couple of months after their grand opening before we ventured in. Our server was Jae, who was a very friendly, delightful lady that left us wanting for nothing. She was on top of things from the moment we walked in the door with smiles and quick efficient service. Many servers could learn a lot from this lady.
The menu is quite large and varied with offerings from Italian to burgers. We wanted to try their Italian and chose a steak and mushroom calzone and my wife had spaghetti and meatballs. Our son-in-law is Italian so we are used to eating good original Italian dishes. When our food arrived, I was surprised at the portion size. My medium calzone was served on a 16" pizza pan and it occupied the entire pan. It was full of tasty steak, mozzarella, and mushrooms. It was browned perfectly and served with marinara sauce and I asked for pesto also. My wife enjoyed her spaghetti and said the sauce was full of flavor.
Long story short.... If you are undecided on whether or not to visit, this is a Great place. If you are traveling through the area, This is undoubtedly the Best Restaurant off the Cross Lanes...
Read moreIf i could rate this place a 0 star i would. First things first we went when it first opened, we got sat at a table as we ordered our food and was trying to eat on our appetizer we noticed a ant colony all over the window seal, table and all over us, while we was trying to eat. We then moved our table and told our server. they then proceeded to sit another family down at the table without wiping it or anything. we then told that server to move those people. When my food arrived my bowl was chipped all around. i also would like to comment on the fact that it is the same tables and booths as frazolis, mind you frazolis in this location closed 10 years ago. Then as we was trying to eat a little we kept watching the same servers we told, set food and drinks all over that table and serve people. When we got out bill it was full price,40$ and when we asked for a manager they kept bringing over team members and not getting a manager. Also wanna comment on the fact that when we walked to the front to ask for a manager the server we told about the ants, proceeded to tell the other team member that we was dealing with, that she didn’t know what table the ants were at and that she didn’t know about it. I wish at the time i remember to...
