What a shame another restaurant opens first month great then falls to heck. We have been there lunch, dinner had old food. Really like egg rolls but again there old setting to long. Each time we go in have to wait for what we want to be put down to cook. Today is the 7TH of December 6:13 waiting 10 minutes in line then told no teriyaki chicken, as well 10 minutes for chicken and mushrooms which we have to to pick out the zucchini which shouldn't be in it. Now waiting 10 minutes still have not put either down so yes we're leaving and not coming back. Right across the street from China Garden has Great food and care about their customers. When asking for a manager a female said oh we're you in drivethrdrive as we've been standing there 20 minutes. She said if you were I'll have to get Andrew he is the only one who can give refunds when we hadn't even paid yet. DrivethrDrive was busy as well inside. There is no excuse for this to happen. If it were once fine but it or something happens each time we go in. Adding there's always fat on the chicken! Not so much as sorry or Andrew coming to apologize as the Manager! There were high hopes for Panda Express but as you read more reviews one will see their pricing lack of communication or caring for the customer, will be their ending. They should have left the two great Chinese restaurants that are here and brought Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Ralleys as our community have been asking for. Once again our county let's us down. They bring Shoneys which is horrible they make no food like Bob Evens it's all from bags or containers. Panda Express and Shonys are welcome to close and move on. There in Defiance County needs to listen to we who pay taxes here, however their not listening. Another two failed restaurants! I tried emailing their so called corporate office but the email listed was incorrect. They have endless links listed in Google search engine. I filled out a form 1/24/2019 received auto email would contact me in 2-3 business well, 29 days later no contact. Then researching found that the unprofessional, disrespectful, rude, one with no integrity Andrew at the Defiance store is a CEO not onwer, a woman owned them all. We then found reviews being left for positive were done by employees were Andrew told to write. It takes time but researching across the board their rating with all stores is barely 2/two stars. Yes of course it was all about food rude management, which tells us why their unable to be reached by email or phone. They do not reply to forms online they ask someone to fill out. I will not stop till I reach the lady listed as the owner or an email address that is cicorre to send our original email as of 1/24/2019. This Panda Express is a real big hit or miss with the miss being 98% of the time. When a company doesn't want you to reach them that tells the story right there. I am going to the city to get their correct contact info. Please think long prior to going there. Many employees have stayed Andrew is very rude to them which is true we heard it and viewed it.
Update found owners who are Billionaire's which explains why they do not bother to reply. This is a national issue as many people have complained. Serve health real good food pay employees who work a true living wage and treat them with...
Read moreHaving been to many Panda Expresses in my life, this location has consistently been by far above and beyond the best one I have been to in my life and my personal favorite thanks to Frank and his team. I felt compelled to write this review after seeing the reviews here for this location and being surprised the average at this time was only 3.7 stars. For reference, although I am Asian, I am not a food connoisseur, and my taste buds lean more towards what I personally call “Americanized” Chinese food rather than full traditional. With that said, I have worked in service oriented industries so I understand quality customer service, and I was very impressed by the quality of service and the food here. The very first time I walked in, the customer service was excellent. The people taking the order welcomed me, and Frank, the manager, personally said enthusiastically, “Sir, if you see anything you want and we are low on it, we will make it fresh for you in just a few minutes!” Sure enough, I ordered something that was low and immediately I saw them start working on cooking the food fresh. Within five minutes my food was ready, fresh, and to me and my personal taste buds, very delicious. I have since repeated several times at this location because I was so impressed. When I went today, the lobby was closed due to unforeseen circumstances, so I ordered through the drive through while it was pouring rain. Frank was actually taking the order, and because the item I ordered was low and had to be freshly made, he informed me there would be just a short wait and asked me to pull to the front. In 5 minutes, Frank came out in the pouring rain to deliver me my food, and he apologized for the delay with a very pleasant demeanor. My food inside the bags was completely dry from the rain as Frank moved very quickly and efficiently and he shielded the bags of food using his arms. Personally, I would much rather wait for my food to be made fresh rather than quickly being served food that had been sitting out for a long time. Here are some photos of the freshly made food from todays pouring rain drive through visit, they may not be the most photogenic since they are in the container but I ate it all and it was, to me, very delicious. The key thing is it all looked and tasted freshly made, which is not something I can say for all other Panda Expresses. I can tell from consistent experiences, that Frank and his team care about your experience. If you have any issue with your order, please kindly let Mr. Frank the manager know. I am confident he will make your experience right. Please be kind to the workers too, as the service industry can be tough on people. Finally, I will say that I was saddened to see the average google reviews for this place are 3.7 stars when I personally felt I had a 5-star experience. But then I remembered a funny thing, there is a viral TikTok trend claiming that 3.5-star Chinese restaurants are the best. I’m sorry my 5-star rating nudges this restaurant away from 3.5 stars, but I truly believe the TikTok claim now. This location is the best Panda Express I have personally experienced, 100% thanks to Frank and his team. I highly recommend Defiance’s Panda Express without...
Read moreVery unprofessional. Had an order to pick up for Door Dash. Store supposed to be open at 10am. Get there, door locked but could see all the employees inside and not one would come to door. Go through the drive through, no response, so I try calling the store, still no response. Go back to door which someone had finally unlocked, go inside, they literally did not have most of their items even ready yet. Heard one of the cooks say, I thought the door was locked. Then I get told it will be at least 10 minutes until order is done. Go back in 10 minutes, still not ready but they had served a couple who went in before me. Then when it was ready, gal took her sweet time even getting it bagged up. Took and hour to pick up and deliver the order. Unexceptable. These cooks have been there quite some time and know how long it takes to prep their food. Shouldn’t be an hour after you’re...
