Read moreUsually we love ordering from Wok N Roll, but this customer service is unacceptable. We ordered a $70+ order yesterday and didn’t receive everything we ordered. We were missing the wraps and sauce from the mooshu pork, which isn’t the biggest deal but it was still a problem, so I called them this morning to let them know what happened and see what they could do. The girl on the phone was rude and acted like she didn’t know that the wraps and sauce went with mooshu pork (which was a $12 meal). She said she could give us wraps even tho I told her it was yesterday and was already thrown out. She then got the manager on the phone and he was rude as well, claiming he bagged the order and he knew it was in there. He asked what he could do and I suggested to replace the meal. He said ok and asked if I could come get a replacement and I said yes. Before I could give my name or a time I could come he said bye and hung up. Then only 20 minutes later the girl called my number and asked if I was coming to get the meal??? I wasn’t able to tell the manager what time I could come get it and they called to ask if I was still coming??? Im 30 minutes away! How could I be there in 20? I told her that I was on the way and she hung up while I was still talking!!!!! Worst customer service I have had from a restaurant in a long time. Like I said we never have problems, but this is just beyond me. Gonna have to find a new takeout place if this is the kind of service they provide when THEY mess...
Read moreAfter recently moving to Noblesville, I decided to find our ‘local go-to’ Chinese takeout. I was quite excited to see Wok & Roll have such high reviews, after all I’ve never seen a Chinese restaurant with 4.5 star review (or higher).
This was quite possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I’ve had better bourbon chicken from a mall food court. The sauce of the bourbon chicken was very watered down. As you prepare a bite of chicken, all of the sauce (the flavor) would run off the chicken.
Something was missing in the fried rice, but I couldn’t figure it out. Part of me thinks the rice was missing that true oily flavor and perhaps a dose of MSG. Honestly, I didn’t order Chinese takeout for healthy eating.
The wonton soup was better than the bourbon chicken and fried rice, but mediocre at best. As for my wife’s meal, her’s didn’t seem appetizing either.
If I wanted Chinese food with no ‘love’ or little to no ‘authenticity’ then I would have went to Panda Express. I would have given this place 2 stars, potentially 3. However, I feel that the 4.5 stars this place has at the time of this review needs to be brought back to reality. So I rated it...
