My partner and I first visited Rodeo Burger on June 19, 2022. To be honest we have mixed feelings about this restaurant. Before I get into the negative side of our experience, I will say the food was . . . Ok. The fries were crispy and seasoned just right. The inside of the fries were fluffy and piping hot. The patty melt was mediocre and could use some improvements. Although I ordered the patty melt with grilled onions, instead they were served raw and tiny chunks as opposed to the traditional grilled onion slices. For this reason I gave this restaurant 2 stars. The fries were excellent!
Now the worse experience we had at this place is the customer service. Upon our arrival, we were overwhelmed with the excessive amount of western decorations which can be confusing for people who are looking for the place to order their food. It was a misleading experience since there were no signs to direct customers to either wait to be seated or “order here.” When we finally found the counter area to order which was hidden behind excessive decorations and a bunch of metal stands with number cards, we stood there for at least 4 minutes before someone noticed us waiting to order. On top of that, the two waitresses that seen us standing on the wrong side of the ordering area didn’t direct us.
After we finally ordered, we didn’t get a number, which was confusing since there were so many numbers in front of the ordering register. Finally, a waitress came to our table and asked us, “is this your food?” We said our number is 35. She said, “oh I don’t know anything about that what did you order?” Seriously? You mean you have two waitresses who have no clue where they are taking the food? We’re we supposed to pick a random number since they were all standing there on the outside of the counter? The order taker didn’t tell us to take a number. Not acceptable! After that, there were at least 8 workers running around the kitchen and huddling in some parts of the restaurant talking, laughing, and not paying attention to their surroundings. No wonder we had onion rings and pieces of friend zucchini mixed with our fries even though we didn’t order them. Not acceptable!
Although the food at this place is somewhat enjoyable, the customer service, lack of organization and attention to detail is trash. The workers really need to be trained to pay attention to the customers and their order and not huddling around talking and bumping into each other dropping food.
Our experience was not enjoyable and we will probably...
Read moreI am writing this review as a long-time and loyal customer who values not only the quality of a company’s products or services but also the professionalism and respect shown by its staff. It is with genuine concern that I share a recent experience involving one of your managers, Ms. Meje, that I believe merits serious attention. During a recent visit to your establishment, I observed several troubling interactions between Ms. Meje and her staff. As a customer, I do not expect to witness internal dynamics unfold on the floor, but in this case, the level of disrespect displayed was difficult to ignore. Ms. Meje addressed her team in a tone that can only be described as harsh and condescending. On more than one occasion, she raised her voice, publicly criticized employees in front of customers, and used language that bordered on demeaning. This created an uncomfortable environment not only for the employees but also for customers present at the time. Several staff members appeared visibly anxious and hesitant in her presence, which leads me to believe this may not have been an isolated incident. While I understand that management roles come with the responsibility of maintaining order and performance, professionalism and respect should never be compromised. A workplace culture driven by fear or humiliation is neither sustainable nor conducive to positive customer experiences. More importantly, it can have long-term consequences for employee morale, customer retention, and the company’s reputation. As someone who genuinely appreciates the services your team provides, I felt it necessary to voice my concerns in hopes that constructive steps can be taken. Employees deserve to work in an environment where they feel valued and respected. A leader should inspire, support, and uplift their team—not belittle them. I trust that your organization takes such feedback seriously and will look into the matter with fairness and discretion. Thank you for taking the...
