7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Norfolk

I never leave reviews but I just had to today. This afternoon I got an iced coffee and then headed over to target. I didn't even get 2 drinks out of it before I spilled it everywhere. I felt horrible for the target employees who had to deal with my hot mess. (God bless them) I was so upset.. So I finished my shopping, then decided to go back and get another coffee. I told the girl taking my order what happened because I figured she might remember me from 30min prior and I was so embarrassed. Just needed them to know I wasnt that crazy of a coffee drinker. 🤣 However, when I told her what happened she told me that my drink was on the house. I was stunned and it almost made me emotional. They were so caring that they even wrote a sweet note on my cup. These 2 girls made my entire day and they don't even know it. I gave them a tip but I know it wasn't enough. Decided to try this place out… the ordering process was odd to say the least. A small team of order takers wanders around the drive thru taking orders with a iPad. I asked our order taker if I could see a menu, and she said she’d have to go in the building to get one - not a great start. Ended up just ordering standard iced coffees (large & medium). Then you pull around the drive thru and have to be careful not to hit any of the order takers that are weaving in between the cars. Upon reaching the pickup area, another person approached the vehicle asking what we ordered, clearly she had no idea. We told her our order which she relayed to the people inside who just then started our order. Then she gave us 2 large iced lattes (or something that was not the plain coffee we ordered). Already having waited far too long, we just took what we got and left. Next time we’ll stick with Scooters. They seem to have a proven order taking formula that works without the stress of having to watch out for wandering...
