I rarely, let me repeat, rarely leave a bad review of ANYWHERE but especially to a small, local business that I LOVE….but here it goes….

Firstly the young lady you waited on me was super nice but wasn’t at all listening to me as I had to repeat my order twice and it was still not right. I asked for a large snowball (don’t judge, I have a sore throat) with cherry flavor and marshmallow fluff in the middle and on top, no dome and a lid. Pretty basic. I’ve gotten this a few (a lot) of times.

I was able to eat some of it on my drive home but found that there was barely any fluff (none at all in the middle) and basically NO cherry flavoring at all. Now I get it…everyone is understaffed and super busy. I made small talk with the young lady and she was surprised that they hadn’t been busy AT ALL today…so why did I just pay $5.50 (plus $1.00 tip) for basically a full cup of shaved ice….

I’ll think twice about driving 15 min (one way) to get a snowball...

Today was my first time trying Penguins and it was phenomenal! The snow is extremely soft and I love that you can “stuff” your snoball with either chocolate or vanilla ice cream. I had the Poppa Smurf and it was the perfect flavor combination of blueberry, cheesecake and sno cream. I had it stuffed with vanilla ice cream and it enhanced the flavors. It also didn’t dye my tongue blue and that impressed me and then I noticed the sign that says dye free, which I loved. My husband had the root beer float stuffed with vanilla ice cream as well and let me tell you that was the best damn root beer float we had ever had. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back a lot more. We love supporting local family owned business and this is the best...
