Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers — Restaurant in Norfolk

I'm still unsure about this place. Been there three times and wasn't too impressed with their "combo" meals. The chicken I think is really good and has good flavor. It's not over breaded or spicy or over peppered like most places are doing now. If that's what you want go to a place that serves buffalo wings. But everything else at Cane's pretty much sucks. The fries remind me of the ones we had in school. They're the crinkle cut fries baked in an oven, so they're pretty soggy and usually cold. The coleslaw is terrible, as is the peppered thousand island dressing they call "sauce". And the regular drink is a 12oz cup completely full of ice and about four swallows of soda. I saw the billboard in Omaha Ne and we plugged it into our GPS. There was a line around the building but it moved reasonably fast. We ordered the 4 piece basket and it was great. The chicken fingers were tender and breaded perfectly. The cole slaw was really good, not the prepackaged cabbage like most places. The sauce was good and didn't have to pick from a list of sauces. Every time I come here I sit in the drive thru for at least 20 minutes. They tell you to pay at the first window then the employee at that window will walk away. Both cars ahead of you will get their food and leave. The employee will come back, look at you, and walk away again. Then when you finally give up and pay at the second window, they will still not have your food ready after half an hour of sitting in line.
