City Bites — Restaurant in Norman

I just had the most amazing experience with this store. I placed a delayed order through UberEats and the order was mistakenly processed as an immediate order. I was initially unable to reach Uber so, I contacted the restaurant. The manager on duty, Chad, immediately said he would put a note on the ticket not to start it until 4:45 and gave me the number to someone at their corporate office who handles their delivery relationships and asked me to get back in touch with him with the resolution to the issue. Mike, at the corporate office gave me the information to contact UberEats. Multiple frustrating calls with Uber later and no closer to the resolution, I called back to the restaurant and spoke with Chad, he heard my frustrations and chose to go far above and beyond to resolve the situation. He canceled my order with Uber and offered to deliver it himself, on his own time, when he got off work at 5. First of all, they are rude, inconsiderate and the wait time in the drive thru is ridiculous, even for a hot sandwich. We went through the drive thru, got our food, and when I checked the bag, I realized our two cookies weren’t in the bag. We ordered a chocolate cream and a ultimate peanut butter. We got a chocolate chip cookie. I went inside after we turned around and when I told the lady what we had ordered she wanted to argue with me like I was trying to get free food. “I swear you said chocolate chip.” Well maybe if you’d read the order back like you’re supposed to, you’d know there was a mess up. My hot California style sandwich was good. Unfortunately, I think my order got lost. My friend got her order & everone around me, most of whom came after me, got their orders. After asking about it 3 times, it finally came out. I placed my order at 11:33 & got my order at 12:15. It was nice & fresh hot, which leads me to think it was made after my inquiries. I'm assuming this is because the staff isn't yet fully trained and that things like that won't happen regularly. One more thing. The restaurant is noisy, so you need a microphone to announce orders.
