Banned because I said the AGM was wrong lol.
I pulled up on this casual Saturday to get my typical sip club drink and pulled into the drive thru in an unorthodox way wanting to experiment with it because I always drive the long way around. I was immediately told to wait and after waiting for about 45 seconds - 1 minute, I was informed that I needed to pull around because the way that I was oriented was 'super dangerous'. I rebutted that I am just here to pick up a simple order that I had already placed and could have been out of the way already. Not to mention, at this point there is already a 2 car gap and all I had to do was pull up approximately 1 foot to be in the yellow line.
I pull up to the window and the Assistant General Manager is leaning out the window with their arms cross and tells me to make sure that I go around the building next time and I respond, "okay" indicating my intent to comply in the future. They then proceed to talk about how it's a HUGE safety hazard and I say it's not a HUGE safety hazard. The manager then proceeds to continue yapping and I just demand him to stop talking and get my drink so I can get gone. After handing me my drink he continued to yapp about it and I reiterated it's not a HUGE safety hazard. He got mad and said that if I keep being rude I will be banned. I'm not sure what I said after but I can guarantee I made no personal attacks, yelled, or even cussed.
But, also he tried to yell it out at me that I was banned and stuttered so that's an L right there.
Listen, I didn't say it wasn't safety hazard at all, but they were being dramatic with their delivery and the customer service is hit or miss as it is. And, as someone who has literally been in the Safety industry analyzing risk and hazards for over half a decade, I understand the safety aspect, but let's real here. But, if they cared about safety hazards they would address their parking lot in general to include where the drive-thru exit meets the entrance. No signs indicate right-of-way, which assumes common sense but compromises safety.
Also, the Panera on Expressway be giving out pickles with they sandwich's, so y'all...
Read moreAwful service. After fighting with the football traffic and getting disappointed by another food place for not having the fruit salad my dad was wanting we decided to try and order here. Unfortunately the same salad we thought we could get here, we learned was a seasonal menu item. We decided to order something else from here because service before had always been excellent. Since we had to redecide what we were going to get, we then started asking about different option since we normally don't order much from this establishment. After a few questions ee started to get the feeling that the cashier taking our order was gettjng impatient, there was no one behind us so we made sure to get a little familiar with the menu before making a final selection, at which point when we did make a final decision we were then asked if that would be all. When we said yes that was it, the girl then replied with "great." And then took a minute or 2 to give us our total. When we got to the window it took about 4-5 minutes to be greeted, and while we waited from the car window we could see a tea had been started on the machine and wad half filled. When the cashier came back she filled it some more and finally a little more before handing it to us. Mind you its supposed to be a raspberry iced tea, but what we got was a watered-down syrup drink with no ice. My dad then tried to make conversation and casually explained our frustration of not being able to order what we originally drove for and begin to apologize if he was possibly a difficult customer. The girl made no eye contact, and no real response to show that she had even really been listening or could empathize. We paid $20 for bad customer service and a syrup drink that couldn't even be finished, at least the food itself was good. Unfortunately due to the lack of care for it's customers, we will not be returning to...
Read more"I'm sorry, but the way you pulled on the parking lot is illegal and extremely dangerous! I'm going to have to ask you to pull around the building.". That is how I was greeted at the drive-thru after pulling into a practically empty parking lot and backing up to the speaker rather than driving around the building. Whoever that was on the speaker must think they are panera's traffic police, As far as I am aware, it's not against the law to back up in a parking lot. I would think it's up to me to decide if my driving is safe or not. I believe there was nothingt unsafe about my driving considering there were no pedestrians and only about five cars on the whole parking lot at the time.
If the management would like to verify I imagine you could check your cameras around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday August 14th.
I don't need Panera badly enough to put up with a drive thru attendant with that type of attitude.
Sorry panera, but I left and spent $65 on dinner for my family somewhere else. Maybe next time your drive to attendant won't be so rude and I'll actually eat there. After all myself and the other four members of my family all...
