⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY by our Red Lobster lunch experience in Norman, OK!
From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew we were in for something special. We were greeted with a warm smile by Raegan, the hostess with the mostess, who had us sat in what felt like seconds - seriously, I’ve waited longer at a stoplight than I did to be seated here!
Then came the absolute superstar of our lunch - Lexi, our server, and let me just say… she didn’t just bring us lunch, she brought the entire vibe. Lexi was the perfect blend of professional, personable, and pure magic. She made us feel like we were the only table in the building! Refills? Already done. Questions? Answered before we even asked. She was upbeat, hilarious, completely on top of everything, and made us feel like VIPs the entire time. It was like dining with your best friend if your best friend also happened to be an all-star server with ESP-level intuition. GIVE. THIS. WOMAN. A. RAISE.
We ordered the new seafood boils and HOLY WOW-flavor for days! Perfectly seasoned, generously portioned, and served piping hot. Every bite was better than the last. Whoever’s back there cooking them up deserves a golden ladle and a slow clap.
And just when we thought it couldn’t possibly get better, Blake, the manager, personally came by to check on us. That extra touch showed the level of care and pride this team has — and it didn’t go unnoticed.
From start to finish, this was hands-down one of the BEST lunch outings we’ve had in a long time. The entire experience was smooth, fun, flavorful, and downright impressive.
👏 Huge shoutout to Lexi, Raegan, and Blake — this Norman Red Lobster team is NEXT LEVEL. We’ll be back soon — and we’re...
Read moreRed Lobster has been my absolute favorite restaurant since as long as I can remember. I love everything about it. However, I am so sad to say my recent experience was disheartening.
We live on a pretty tight budget and I have had horrendous medical issues in the last year. My husband gave me money to go eat at Red Lobster yesterday because I finally felt hungry after many months of being so sick. I went alone but I didn’t care because like I said I love Red Lobster.
My server was polite but there were very few customers there and she only came to my table after a very long wait and then once more. I had a filet mignon and a small shrimp Alfredo. The pasta was delicious but the steak was the worst I have ever had at any restaurant. I had to spit every bite into a napkin:( it was terrible. The broccoli was wonderful. When I finally did see my server again I asked if I could possibly get something different besides the steak. It tasted like freezer burn and I could not chew it no matter how many times I tried. She could see that I had most of the steak left on the plate and the rest in a napkin. She said she would check and never came back. The pasta and the broccoli was plenty but the steak had just cost so much I hated to waste it. I was afraid to even bring it home to the dogs in fear in my make them sick.
I had to go ask for my check at the front. $55
It was the location in Norman ok about 11:45 (also, the area I sat in smelled of mold or mildew and the floor still had food under the table from the look of it I believe it was from the night before) I was sooo disappointed. I had looked forward to this...
Read moreOverall the food was just ok, nothing spectacular. I will say that the desserts were excellent though. My wife and my son said to me, you’re cooking is so much better than this, that made me feel good but I do agree with them. The lobster was over cooked to where it was on the chewy side and the salmon was a little dry. The Mac n cheese was good and they cooked the steaks to a medium rare so that was right . I believe our server was Jackie or Jacquelyn? I forgot to be honest. Service was good as she kept the drinks full and table cleared as needed and was very friendly. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience but 3 stars for food quality 5 stars for service. Also when we first arrived a party of 5 we had waited at least 6-7 minutes before we we’re greeted as there was no host/hostess at the front and maybe 10-12% occupancy so not very busy at all and what appeared to be a manager by the way she was dressed she said let me get the hostess for you and then that took another few minutes for her to arrive and she just showed us to the table and that was it. Didn’t say who our server would be or they’ll be with you shortly or enjoy your meal. 6pm on a Saturday night and pretty much an empty restaurant. O don’t blame the waitress for any of it as she did her job well but from the front of the house to the back of the house there is definitely a huge lack of energy . All the servers did well as I could hear them with their guests but between the host/hostess and management they were non existent. I don’t believe that my family and myself...
