Went for teriyaki town and didn’t realize it was replaced with yama si. The service was friendly and helpful, food was delicious and fresh, and service was quick with easy to use tablets. Can’t wait to frequent this place more and see them grow!! đŸ’«

Food The meat melts in your mouth and it and salad was fresh and and crunchy! The dressing container is small but concentrated so the salad was still flavorful

As of now they do not have any vegan or vegetarian options, but today was their first day and they happily took my input and stated they may have something coming soon!

Ambiance they repainted and have tablets you can order togo on , or if you’re dining, in there is a host to seat you.

It looks they might have the same tables and chairs as the old place, but they’ve definitely updated it a bit!

Service They were so nice! We took our time on the tablet and they answered all our questions and took input about potentially...

We popped in to grab lunch today to go. We were asked to order on the iPad for to go orders. Not a big deal. What we didn't appreciate was the automated tip of 15% added to the order automatically. I generally only tip if we dine in the building not doing take out. Also my Son said if you order online it adds a auto tip as well. It took a bit to figure out how to remove it. We ordered the Chicken/ Beef teriyaki combo and for 4 dollars more added the two egg rolls. So basically 20.00 plus tax. First the meat and chicken were SO GOOD!!!! Salad was crisp and fresh. 😉😊Where we weren't thrilled the egg rolls had about 25% filling in each egg roll. That was a big disappointment as what was in it tasted quite good just was VERY skimpy. We will for sure be back though. Overall...

Got the chicken katsu curry dine in. Really good portion, crispy, and the curry was actually flavorful (normally I don’t feel this way). Only part I wasn’t in love with was the rice I got was a little too mushy for my taste.

The owner (presumably) seems like a nice guy, welcoming, and also gave the table near me a free California roll (maybe they tipped well when ordering, idk though). Will definitely go here if I’m hiking in North Bend again!!

Edit: came back again and the rice was perfect, chicken was even crispier somehow. Also, wait to be seated if want to dine in (they have a kiosk so I...

After recently moving to North Bend we were delighted to stumble on Yama Si! It was a happy accident, and after two dinners, we have a new favorite restaurant. We have had two different ramen dishes, gyoza, Chicken Kaarage, and chicken/beef teriyaki. The portions were generous and the flavor in every case was excellent. An overlooked aspect of restaurant reviews is cleanliness, and Yama Si scored perfect against our expectations. The place was spotless. The husband and wife team cares about their product, and in our experience, pays close attention to everything that gets served.

Dropped in after hiking midweek for a comforting post workout meal and they did not disappoint. Delicate but firm and crispy crunch from the gyoza. Spicy chicken katsu was a wonderful surprise. The spice level was around that of Red’s hot sauce and tangy like you’d expect from a wing sauce. Satisfying portions as well. Enjoyed thai tea as well and was not disappointed. If you’re passing through the area check them out.
