7-Eleven — Restaurant in North Bergen

The representative that had been working the register at the time of my visit, made several inappropriate comments about what I was purchasing. He commented on my physical appearance and negatively spoke to me in a degrading manner. This was all without confrontation as I stood there astounded that it was actually taking place, that somebody was commenting on what I was buying without me saying a word. My husband later went back to the store and I had to restrain him from becoming physical. The things he said were so out of line and inappropriate that we immediately returned all the items purchased,And have decided to be done with 7-Eleven. Although the manager was apologetic, and also trying to calm down my husband, I can’t believe that the culture displayed today is acceptable. This 7/11 is poorly managed (in a good location) the staff is always on the phone especially while ringing up sales. They literally have their cellphone in one hand and ringing you up with the other. No wonder their is so many issues at this location. Also I would say reevaluate your prices, just because you are in a great location doesn't give you right to rob kids!! (Thats who mainly go their) I will give you an example they sell zebra cakes. One individual zebra cake they have the audacity to charge $3:79 plus tax. For people that don't know you can buy a box of 12 zebra cakes for $3.99, that's one of many items they over charge. Sm Ms To the person who wrote this negative review of the 7eleven employee , you must have had a bad day at home or just aren't happy with yourself :) . I have been going to this store 3 times a day for the last 3 years , i have to say i have never had a bad experience with this young lady you spoke about . Every employee at this location has been kind and very courteous not only to myself but other patrons i have interacted with through out the years . Before people post negativity about someone remember if your having a bad day don't take it out on others !!!! Have a blessed day God still...
