Blazin Chicken & Gyro — Restaurant in North Bergen

So i’ve eaten here a few times when it was called nyc halal eats as well. They started off really good, amazing portions, great service and perhaps top 5 platters i’ve ever had. I ate there yesterday july 2nd 2023. Great service, guy at the cashier even offered me a water on him I declined but I appreciated the offer nonetheless. Platter portions are still pretty good. I ordered a mixed platter. Chicken was pretty good nothing out the ordinary. The lamb tho was kinda hard didn’t think much of it, i was like maybe the overcooked it a bit but nothing too much to worry about. It was the only thing i ate in the morning, couldn’t finish it so i kept it till later that same day. Keep in mind i kept it for the next day before and it was still good. Day went by fine woke up with a slight stomachache. I was like nothing crazy happens a lot. Around 3 pm it was starting to hurt a little more than usual. I was like nothing crazy popped an advil calmed it down a bit. 5 pm comes around it’s really starting to hurt like this is obviously not normal. However still able to handle it. 8 pm i am experiencing the worst stomachache i ever had. I was in so much pain I went to a pharmacy downed two Tylenols 500mg each still in such excruciating pain i was literally minutes away from calling the ambulance cause i couldn’t move. Eventually i threw up and I was fine. This is my first time ever writing a review and it’s not to scare customers away but it’s a wake up call to whoever is in charge of sanitization or the cook who’s in charge of inspecting the food’s expiration date. Blazin Chicken and Gyro exceeded all my expectations! The food was absolutely fantastic, making it an ideal meal option when you're dealing with massive hunger. They have an extensive menu with a delightful variety of options, including lamb, chicken, fish, hamburgers, gyros, chicken wings, and more. The selection of sauces complemented the dishes perfectly, adding an extra layer of flavor to the already delicious food.

The service was outstanding - the staff was super friendly and accommodating, especially to someone like me who was a first-time customer. They guided me through my order with patience and made the entire experience delightful.

Though I found the overall price to be okay, paying $15 for one platter and a soda was slightly higher than what I had expected. However, I appreciated the fact that they didn't charge me for the extra sauce I requested, which balanced things out. The convenience of being able to order online and pay with a card added to the overall positive experience.

Another remarkable aspect of Blazin Chicken and Gyro is their portion sizes. With just one platter priced at $12, it was more than enough for two people to enjoy a satisfying meal, ensuring we didn't starve to death, as the saying goes.

I saw this place on a YouTube channel called devour power. Today I tried one of their platters for lunch. The combination platter comes with chicken and lamb served over basmati rice with a side of french fries and a salad. They topped that off with whatever three sauces you would like. it was my first time there, and the gentleman behind the counter gave me all of their sauces so I could try them at no extra charge. They are white sauce and Blazin sauce is the standard combination, and they are amazing together. But don’t sleep on their green sauce and they’re hot sauce. The french fries are battered and deep fried to a crispy golden perfection. The salad comes with cucumber, carrot finally shredded cabbage, finally shredded, and I asked for jalapeños as well for a little kick. this is easily big enough for two people. And only for $12. When I got back to my job with my platter, four of my coworkers ordered from here immediately after seeing my food. The food is so good here that I am not sure how this place isn’t constantly taking orders every minute of the day. I will be trying the Salito platter or loaded...
