First time here and first time having real authentic Italian food. I came here with my partner in the evening of July 4th. The restaurant has such a lovely and romantic atmosphere. Every of the employees here and the chef greeted us. Our server Alex was so nice and attentive, and she recommended us great food. We sat toward the back where the hanging flowers were. We ordered their Alfredo pasta and steak. The steak and steak sauce was so good and so was the pasta. I do wish their was AC in the back though since it was pretty hot that day, but I think they wanted to maintain the garden vibe so only the front seating area had AC I believe.
I'm usually not a fan of food other than Asian food, but my partner took me here and I was amazed by how great the food and service was here. They make everything from scratch here so you're not getting frozen food that's heated up. This is a really great fine dining spot for Italian food. It may not look like a lot from the outside but the inside is very wide and spacious. I've never had authentic Italian food so this came as a wonderful surprise to me. Unfortunately, we were in a rush to go see the fireworks so we couldn't order the desserts. For those of you who thinks it's pricey or is it worth it, I'm telling you from my experience because I'm a crazy budget person, but this place is 1000% worth your money for all that you're getting. We usually never tip more than the suggested amount, but it was so good that we wanted to. Ofc, tip accordingly to your experience and taste. I didn't get a chance to take pictures of videos, but the next time I come here I would definitely do. I've been recommending this place to my friends as well, and it's a restaurant I would definitely come...
Read moreWhere to start? Firstly, the restaurant is in an awesome location and has a very nice vibe when you walk in. This is my second time coming here, and unfortunately, I had the same type of experience as the first time. The food was phenomenal, but the service was practically nonexistent. I’m not sure if they were understaffed or what the actual issue was, but we arrived at 8 p.m. and were sat around 8:05 p.m. No one came to our table until around 8:25pm and that’s only because I had to wave down our waitress. No water at first; we had to ask, and it was brought out. Then they brought bread out that was freezing cold and took our order and the appetizers around a half hour later. Luckily, the entrees came out 15 minutes after that. I asked the waitress for water on 4 separate occasions, and she would say, “Don’t worry, I didn’t forget,” and still no water. The owner even came to our table, and I asked him for water only for him to also forget, so now that’s 5 times that I had asked for water with no one coming to our table to check in whatsoever. I had to get up and walk to the front of the restaurant and ask my waitress again if I could please have some water, and she seemed annoyed that I even asked. It’s a shame because the food is very good and it’s such a nice little place, but I’ve had the same experience on both occasions where the food was fantastic and the service was neglectful. All in all, our waitress came to our table maybe twice the entire time we were there. They either need more staff or a better system because it’s taking away from the other aspects of the restaurant that are great. To sum it up, great food, cozy atmosphere, but extremely...

Wow—what a phenomenal experience! From start to finish, Gallo Nero Ristorante Italiano blew us away. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and everything we tried was bursting with flavor and authenticity.
We started with the grilled octopus, and I’m still dreaming about it. Perfectly tender—like butter—and seasoned so beautifully it didn’t need anything else. The fresh bread served beforehand was also incredible: warm, crusty, and a perfect match for the meal.
I ordered the fettuccine bolognese, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The pasta was clearly homemade, fresh, and cooked to perfection. The meat sauce? Rich, savory, and expertly seasoned—easily one of the best I’ve had. My wife had the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, and she couldn’t stop raving about it. Creamy, flavorful, and packed with juicy shrimp.
Even our daughter had a blast with her meal! She got the chicken cutlet with fries, and let me tell you—it was so good we had to restrain ourselves from stealing bites off her plate. Crispy, tender, and just perfectly done.
We were too full for dessert right there, but we grabbed some tiramisu to go—and based on how everything else tasted, I already know it’s going to be amazing.
A special shout-out to Carlos, our server. He was friendly, incredibly informative, and gave us the best recommendations that elevated our experience even further.
If you’re even thinking about visiting this place—do it. This is one of those rare spots that delivers across the board: food, service, atmosphere, and overall vibe. Gallo Nero is truly a local gem. Gigi, show up and show out—you...
