Gandolfo Pizzeria & Restaurant — Restaurant in North Bergen

Terrible place with the terrible people !!! Old lady with eyeglasses, with zero empathy to customers . She dasnt know how to talk , how to greet . She mistakenly have confused that the customers were not coming to her home, they came to their business (location) to leave their money and enjoy food and service . Just imagine , this lady was screaming at me when I just stepped into that place . She was screaming “ hellooooo, helloooo, we are closed!!”showing me by hand that I have to leave . Her face was extremely ANGRY and I felt EXTREMELY UNWELCOME . She didn’t try to greet me with “ hello” , she was aggressively taking my attention because I cudnt hear her from far as it was noisy at the kitchen . And she is RACIST additionally , so seeing ASIAN girl she decided to be RUDE to me thinking I will take it . I'm not even mentioning that Google shows that they close at 10Pm but they closed at 9pm ( I came at 9:05pm). SHAME ON OWNER OF THIS PLACE . If this lady is the owner - SHAME ON HER , she dasnt know how to love people and respect her customers. This place is full of red flags . I DONT RECOMMEND even going there and wasting your time unless you want to RUIN...

I been coming to this pizzeria for about 20 years I loved the food it tasted as close to home cooking u can get last nite I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo added chicken and a fettuccine Alfredo add shrimp the chicken was cut into squares something I never seen this restaurant do before and the Alfredo sauce tasted like it was out of a jar now like I said I no the quality of food this place use to serve last nite the food tasted like it was made from some pizzeria in Wyoming or something I called and explained to the owner that the food was not what I am use to eating he told me the cook is the same no new ownership and I told him I was gonna bring the food back it was not up the owner then proceeded to hang the phone up on me I wont be going back to gandolpho and it’s disappointing cause about four years ago I put up a great review on this place the food has changed and the way it’s being...

OMG I have been coming to this Pizzeria since my son was a baby and even before. My son is about to be 22 and this place is still our favorite Pizza Restaurant.

But today when we walked in I notice something different overall and it was the renovation, the music and new owners…..I ask George if he was one of the new owners and I was so surprised to see him come around to our table to introduced him self and he was just so humble, nice and polite that as I was waiting for our food my son and I decided to leave a review.

Not to mention how good the food is in this place.
