This was my first time trying CAVA and they nailed it with the food and more importantly, the customer service. They had a moderate line of customers ordering their food and I did not want to hold the line up by not being familiar with the menu. It took me about five minutes of staring at the many options, while the other customers ordered their food. I'm currently not eating meat or chicken, so this was going to be a vegan/veggie dish. The questions that came to my head was: What dipping sauce was I going to get? What greens should I get? What end of the line dressing should I get? After I nailed down my options, arugula, right rice, roasted potatoes, and mixed roasted veggies and the spicy red humus dip sauce with cucumbers and a little of the lime vinaigrette dressing. Finally, I go to pay, and the line manager asked if it was my first time and said yes. He explained some more options and I thought he told the nice cashier attendant that I got a double order of veggies, which I did. When I went to pay for my total order, the nice casier attendant told me it was on the house, since it was my first time. That blew me away, because I was not expecting that and as I was fully prepared to pay. I say all this to say, it gave me a chance to try out my selection. The food was delicious and the thoughtfulness was a home run by the team. I'm looking forward to trying more options at this CAVA and other locations as well.
Please go support them and bring a great attitude, because they sure will have one to greet you.

Read moreI don't usually write reviews about restaurants I visit for the first time, but this place. This place deserves special attention and grilling.
Let's begin with their dismal service. We went in at 9 PM on a Tuesday so it's not like they were busy. Not a single greeting and the lady just stared at me. I even told her it's our first time, and she seemed to get annoyed at that! Forget about offering me advice on what I should get or even a damn menu. The people who work their literally look like zombies kept awake on adderall. Do these people recieve breaks or do we need to call labor dept, because they seriously are in need of a break. Also may I suggest therapy for smiling and basic human interactions?
One spoon, literally one spoon of rice was given in the bowl that cost $9. For my protein I chose falafel, they were little turds of inedible mess. My granddad's flip flops has better taste. My biggest displeasure is that if I'm spending $9+ on a bowl of food, it better be filled more than half way. Everything I got, they put one spoon or less. Are yall rationing? I didn't know Cava has a food shortage!
Everything from my interaction with the server who prepared my bowl, to the quantity of food has me seriously irritated.
GO TO CHIPOTLE, PEOPLE! THEY KNOW HOW TO KEEP PEOPLE...
Read moreCAVA at Montgomery Mall is consistently a go-to spot for fresh, flavorful Mediterranean bowls and wraps. The ingredients always taste fresh, and I love that you can customize everything to your liking — from the greens and grains to the proteins and toppings. The spicy lamb meatballs are my favorite, and the harissa honey chicken is another great choice when I’m in the mood for something with a little kick.
What really stands out at this location is how well they pack the food for takeout. Every time I order, my food is neatly organized and secure in the bag. The containers are always sealed well, nothing spills, and they even take the time to double-bag it when needed — which really helps when you’re carrying out multiple bowls or have a longer drive home. You can tell they care about the presentation and making sure everything arrives just as good as it left the kitchen.
Overall, the service is fast, the staff are friendly, and the food hits the spot every time. Highly recommend if you’re in the Montgomery Mall area and looking for something fresh, filling,...
