This is for North Brunswick. I wish i could give it a '0' star. But read this very carefully.
I have a huge party to be conducted for which i needed sweets in some kind of fancy boxes, though not too fancy but a simple version of fancy. so i go in here and ask this person on counter as to how much does the sweet cost, he tells me $11.95/lb. So i ask him how much for half a pound and he tells me politely $6. Which is fine. now i ask him that how much would be the cost of half a pound if i want the sweets in one of those boxes(I pointed towards the fancy box sample on display) and he hells me $15 and it will contain half a pound of sweets. I was shell shocked when i heard him say that it'll cost $15 for half a pound just because it's some ordinary looking fancy box. So i asked him, "Do you mean to say that your boxes are worth more than your sweets? half a pound sweets cost $6 and $9 for a box?................Seriously??". And he tells me that "Sir, the boxes are imported from India and hence they're so costly?". I mean come on now, are you trying to tell me that there is no one among the Indian population in the USA who does not make boxes, and that too in "New Jersey", where the Indians are densely populated? SERIOUSLY.......This is loot business. The only message to you Mithaas folks is that, please stop looting people like this.your box didn't even looked that great so that someone would pay an extra $9 over $6 for just a half pound of sweets. Why do you think of doing such a cheap business? Don't you have any sense to Thug...

Overall experience is good - could be better... if the quantity matches the price for some menu items.
Advice to management - Look into....
Either reduce price or increase the quantity. (There is another restaurant 2 blocks away Udxxx and gives you ample food for the price you pay and pleasant service... except they don't carry fancy menu items like you).
During rush hour it becomes challenging for customers and seating coordinator to manage it on first come first serve. Seen some customers getting upset when they see customers arriving after them getting seated before them.
In short - good restaurant but could be better. Will recommend it for some dishes.
Here is wrap for 8 bucks...
UPDATE AS OF JAN-2023
They have started collecting your phone number to get you points to be used against your next purchase.... this is OK.... But they ALSO save last 4 digits of your credit card with your phone number WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION, I guess this free invitation for lawsuit. we recently got veg Manchurian Dry for Togo, and we were terribly disappointed. It felt like the Manchurian balls weren’t cooked or fried properly and were too doughy. On top of that, the amount of food color that stained our fingers was shocking. We didn’t expect this kind of quality from Mithaas. Please take this as sincere feedback from a regular customer, as we live very close to the restaurant. Changing my review to 3 stars.

I recently visited Mithaas in North Brunswick for dinner with friends, and it was a great experience. Although the place was packed, we got our table as soon as we walked in. The ordering process is straightforward—you place your order at the counter with your table number, and the food is brought to you.
We started with the Manchow soup, which was delicious, and the Raj Kachori chaat, which looked amazing and tasted just as good. The chili garlic noodles were fantastic, and the gobhi Manchurian dry was a perfect accompaniment. Overall, the food was tasty, and the variety of dishes made it a satisfying meal.
I also noticed that they have a wide selection of Indian sweets and a live panipuri stall that I'm definitely going to try on my next visit. If you're looking for yummy vegetarian food, Mithaas is a great spot to check out....
