China Garden — Restaurant in North Brunswick Township

We order for delivery once every week from this restaurant. Every single time we do the lady who answers the phone is always in a hurry and very rude. Just yesterday we ordered sesame chicken w/ Broccoli (which is very good there) , larage pork fried rice, large vegetable lo mein, and a larage wonton soup. Which came to be $50 and change. Which is very expensive considering we have ordered a lot more in the past for the same amount. Anyways when we got the food there was no wonton soup. It was on the bill. She read me my address back and said we ordered chicken chow mein and white rice and that was completely wrong . She got very rude and nasty. She finally realized that it was her fault that she forgot it and tried to make me feel bad because she would have to send her delivery guy out again and he would be mad and she would have to hear from him . I asked for a discount on my next order for the inconvenience or free item . She told me she would never give anyone food for free . Even know it was her fault and I had to wait two hours before I receive the wonton soup. As I was talking she was talking in Chinese to somebody else what I was talking to her which was very rude and she was getting very loud and nasty considering she works in a restaurant that is very unprofessional . I never went to a Chinese restaurant where they had such rude customer service. I told her I would never order from her again because all she was interested in The money from her customers not the satisfaction and I even told her that and she even admitted it to me on the phone. I just ordered from China Garden for the first time and I have to say that I'm impressed. Being in central Jersey, Chinese takeout, like Italian, is a dime a dozen, however I'm very happy with the quality and service here. To begin with, when I phoned in my order, I was answered by a friendly, courteous staff member who was very friendly and polite and informed me that my order would be ready in "about 45 minutes", so I expected up to an hour given that I'm in a high-traffic area. 30 minutes later, the delivery driver shows up 15 minutes ahead of schedule with piping hot, clearly freshly-prepared food. He was also very polite and courteous. I ordered a shrimp egg roll, chicken and broccoli, and roast pork chow fun, and everything is delicious; the vegetables are crisp and tasty, the meats are perfectly prepared and seasoned, not too salty and certainly not bland, and everything has a nice, light feel to it, not heavy and weighed down by sauces that are too thick and greasy. Having traveled in China and having a decent grasp of the difference between local Chinese cuisine and the Americanized takeout we have here, I'm definitely impressed by the food. Today I went to china garden I order here most times and the food is good. But today I'll know longer go there when I had an order changed due to my sister not eating chicken to shrimp. So they made it over and I paid 50 cent more for it. I told them make it the same way with white rice so after I returned home it was with pork fried rice. Now for those who dont eat pork your not going to pick the topping off with that because its made with pork. I took it back and the lady said after she walked away from the counter I'm not making it over instead the young man gave me a small white rice. I realized she was being nasty and rude, so I asked for my money back and left there with telling them I will give my review and never come back. So now I can tell the world I also saw there before a baby roach I'll never eat there again nor my family or friends.
