The reason I began posting to Google Maps was to use it to remind myself if I had been to a restaurant before and if I liked the food. North Brunswick Pub was one of those restaurants that my memories failed me. I used to visit the pub in the 90s and stopped after I moved from the area. I'd go with friends and seemed to remember the food was OK. Well, I was wrong. Monday's experience was the real reason I haven't been back in 20 years. I ordered Steak Nachos... if you made Nachos at home it would be better. This plate has the minimum of steak on the plate, look at the photos and count the pieces. The chips were soggy, there was no crunch. I stopped eating them and left half the plate. I asked for a "to go" container knowing I was throwing them away. I really don't know why I didn't leave them at the table. They went in the trash at the North Brunswick WAWA. The Pub Burger was just sad. The lettuce, tomato and onion looked as if it was plated Sunday morning, sadly it was placed on my burger Monday evening. The burger is possibly one of the worst I've eaten. Well, half eaten. I refuse to suffer through it and asked for my check. The waitress to the Pub Burger off of the bill, I didn't ask her to but I'm glad she did it. I tipped her well because of that service. I told my wife about the horrible food and she laughed at me telling me that my memory is horrible. She said that we stopped going to the North Brunswick Pub when we were dating in the early 2000s because the food sucked. I read the other reviews that said the food is good here. They are either friends of the owner and staff, paid reviewers or they are homeless people that usually eat out of trash cans. The Pub's food is definitely better than eating out of a trashcan. I wouldn't recommend it. Go to the Omega diner just down the road for a much...
Read moreI recently visited North brunswick pub, and unfortunately, the experience was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we encountered an atmosphere that was not only unwelcoming but downright troubling. The staff displayed behavior that was overtly racist, which made our group feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We were shocked by how casual and dismissive the staff were when we raised concerns about the incident.
On top of that, we tried to leave an honest, constructive review about the beer we tried, but our feedback was immediately rejected. It was clear that the bar had no interest in hearing from its customers, especially when the feedback wasn't glowing. The refusal to accept live reviews or engage in any dialogue about the quality of their products is a huge red flag.
A bar should be a place where everyone feels welcome and their opinions are respected, but North brunswick pub failed on both fronts. It's incredibly disappointing to see such behavior from a business that should prioritize inclusivity and customer satisfaction. I strongly recommend avoiding this place, as there are many other venues where your patronage and feedback...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst customer service! Owners daughter is quite rude, dishonest and a total disgrace of a human being! What could have been a beautiful evening out with friends ended in a nightmare experience due to a simple misunderstanding. My money will never be spent here! In short, a friend came in and purchased drinks for the group, we received 4 empty shot glasses and they were turned down. I took one and turned up to request a new drink, three glasses still turned down...owners daughter cleaning counter, took the turned up glass...I assumed in the flow of things she had not realized. Upon receiving my drink she proceeded to take another glass, I explained that she just took one, she argued with me...my friends also advised what they saw...she continued to make herself a total fool, arguing...we asked for supervisor, her reply, "I am the supervisor", asked for owner, "That's my father". My next move, check please! There was no winning with her...my hard earned dollar will not feed this idiot! Customer service is totally lacking...
