Burger King — Restaurant in North Canton

Experience: Disappointing (first time at this location).

I normally enjoy eating at BK. Not this time. My experience started upon arriving in the parking lot. The the lanes are too narrow; the turns are too sharp; and the signage is non-existent. Where to park was not apparent. I was blocked at a 3-way intersection by a little old lady in a large SUV who was struggling to get out of the tiny parking lot to our right. Straight ahead, I was blocked by a car coming from the opposite direction. We sat there for 10 minutes as the lady maneuvered back and forth to negotiate the difficult turn without going over a curb, through the bushes, or into my fender.

Entering the restaurant, I noticed that the registers were not attended. But there was a long line of people at the other end of the counter. I stopped at the first register for a minute or two until my wife suggested we go to the back of the line--assuming that they must be using the register at the busy drive through window. Another customer, noticing our confusion, told us that the line was for picking up orders and sent us back to the other registers.

A manager (I think) shouted for someone to go to the registers. Had she specified who should go to the registers might have resulted in a better response time. The woman who sauntered to the register arrived with an attitude that made me feel like I should apologize for taking her away from her other job. She was bored stiff and actually produced a large yawn as my wife was giving her order.

We had to wait a long time for our order. While I was waiting, I noticed that the assembly line seemed to be shorthanded for lunch time.

The drink station had run out of tops for my drink size. The napkin-littered countertop top was covered in spilled soft drinks and melted ice cubes.

Table tops were sticky. Someone did start cleaning the tables as we were leaving.

Strangely, the dining room floor, walls, and windows were immaculate.

I tried the American Brewhouse King sandwich for the first time. It was DRY and the tavern sauce and mayo were all but missing.

I am shocked by the number of high rating this store has. Perhaps my experience was an outlier. Nonetheless, my wife and I have agreed that we'll not be returning to this...

Is there possibly a star for like a -1? Went through the drive thru and ordered 3 double cheese burgers no pickles, large onion ring and 2 drinks. The drive thru worker didn't repeat the order at all which it can be understandable because it was busy, went to the window and cashed out and looked at the receipt, and it was rung up as 3 burgers no pickles, so I waited until she came back to the window to tell her that it was supposed to be 3 double cheese and gave back the card and the receipt. Manager came over to refund it and tried to refund it and then rerung in the order and the card declined. Supposed to use the card for the new order first and then do the refund. But the manager was saying that it wasn't working and walked over to get the food and told Michelle that she's going to just give it for free because she couldn't get it and Michelle said that's what I wanted all along anyways. Ive worked customer service before and know how to treat customers so I'm not sure why I got attitude about it. I refuse...

I literally have no idea what is going on inside this restaurant! Tonight, I was in the drive thru for no less than 20 minutes, and sat at the window for another 5 watching the 3 employees inside move like sloths! The person IN FRONT of me sat at the window equally as long, only to be told to pull up because his food wasn’t ready. He was STILL sitting there when I FINALLY got my food! Then to find out the 2 plain hamburgers I ordered actually had everything on them! Maybe that’s what took so long!?!?!?!? They were putting unrequested ingredients on a burger! Whoever the owner or manager is here, praying to God, it wasn’t one of the 3 people I saw tonight, you NEED to do something about your staff! If they were maybe short handed ( still no excuse for moving like a sloth) , then HIRE some people who need a job and are willing to actually move to get the job done! I’d be so embarrassed if I was the owner/manager of this place! It’s not home of the whopper, it’s home of the slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwest...
