Christenbury Corners — Local services in Harrisburg

We went shopping at Kohl's and Earth Fare. Kohl's had a sale so the shoe dept was a bit sparse but we were able to find what we were looking for, in the right size. My husband was able to get a dress shirt and I found a summer dress that I liked. I'd say that was a good shopping day. The store was going through renovations when we went so it was a bit tight moving through the tight spaces but it made for some amusing interactions with other shoppers.

I absolutely adore Christenberry Corner for its incredible selection of stores, but there are two that hold a special place in my heart. Firstly, there's Chicken Salad Chick, a haven for chicken salad enthusiasts like myself. The name of this place is Maple Street Biscuit Company. Most of the food was absolutely delicious. I would have given this place a 5 star rating if the bacon wasn’t as hard as a rock, and not heated and served in a cup. There were 3 halves (total of 1 1/2 pieces) of bacon. I think I was cheated lol! When a staff member asked me how I enjoyed everything, I told her about the bacon. She didn’t ask to replace it, so I just ate it. Everything...
