Hardee's — Restaurant in North Carolina

I just have to say awhile back this store had horrible customer service … however lately it’s been amazing . Since the young guys have been running the place , we love it there !! Sometimes we will get our Grandkids off the bus , and they will ask to go to Hardee’s . The young guys are always so polite and kind, treat every customer like they are so important. Lastnight after the kids game , my Husband and I stopped to eat by ourselves. We were quickly welcomed , and Kagan was so sweet .. asked a lot of questions on how we wanted our burgers , and fixings . My Husband said there’s a guy that really likes his job!! He was doing it all , take out, counter, trash, and mopping . With a huge smile and conversation. As my Grandson would have told him “ he deserves 5 stars!!!⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ We will delve back !! I swung through the Drive Threw, there was not a line so I thought it would be quick. I ordered a Roast Beef sandwich and 1 apple pie. It's listed as the first sandwich on the menu, so I was thinking it would be quick, besides I love the Roast beef sandwiches. I was surprised to find that I had to wait for 10 minutes, they apologized for the delay and asked me to pull forward, they would bring my order out to me. So I did. I guess to make up for the wait they gave me an extra apple pie which I appreciate, but I do wish that their service could be a little faster for a drive-thru window. Some of the beef on the sandwich was cold but then some of it was warm. Basically I was hungry and just needed something to eat so I just ate it and tried not to worry about it being partly cold. Waited for five minutes for service inside with only four patrons drinking soft drinks. Very corpulent employee was sitting backwards with his butt on a table, leaning over onto adjacent booth looking at his phone who finally decided to wait on me. No one was initially in the kitchen; a young lady was attending to a drive through customer. I ordered two hamburgers with fries to take out: $16. Took them to my destination but was not able to enjoy the food because of soggy, old tomatoes and lettuce, and cheese and onions which were specially asked to be excluded. Frankly, I was afraid the food was unclean. This experience for me affects not only this establishment but all of Hardee's restaurants. I will not go back no matter...
